Com um passivo de mil milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares e f\u00e1bricas abandonadas, o sonho chin\u00eas acabou nos tribunais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na altura, muitos viram esta liquida\u00e7\u00e3o como o fim de uma aventura iniciada sob a dire\u00e7\u00e3o de Sergio Marchionne, um s\u00edmbolo da incapacidade dos construtores de autom\u00f3veis ocidentais para acompanharem o ritmo da deslumbrante revolu\u00e7\u00e3o el\u00e9ctrica chinesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Est\u00e1 na altura de se separar...<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A joint venture com a GAC tinha tudo para ser bem-sucedida no papel: duas f\u00e1bricas, 300.000 ve\u00edculos por ano e uma gama calibrada para atrair os condutores chineses. Mas depois de atingir um pico de mais de 200.000 vendas em 2017, o decl\u00ednio foi r\u00e1pido. A explos\u00e3o das marcas locais, a eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o acelerada e a perda de confian\u00e7a nos modelos a combust\u00e3o assinalaram o fim do projeto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carlos Tavares, que tinha tentado recuperar o controlo ap\u00f3s a fus\u00e3o FCA-PSA, deparou-se com um parceiro chin\u00eas desafiador e um clima regulamentar cada vez mais desfavor\u00e1vel. O resultado foi a liquida\u00e7\u00e3o de uma estrutura cheia de d\u00edvidas e a sa\u00edda lament\u00e1vel da Stellantis de um mercado estrat\u00e9gico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">... e o da reconcilia\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas seis meses depois, o cen\u00e1rio mudou. A sa\u00edda de Tavares e a chegada de Ant\u00f3nio Filosa \u00e0 dire\u00e7\u00e3o do Stellantis marcam uma clara mudan\u00e7a de estrat\u00e9gia. Enquanto o anterior CEO defendia uma abordagem de \"activos leves\", afastando-se de investimentos pesados na China, o seu sucessor parece querer voltar a envolver o grupo, mesmo que isso signifique reabrir feridas mal cicatrizadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde a sua entrada em fun\u00e7\u00f5es, em junho de 2025, Filosa tem feito v\u00e1rios gestos em dire\u00e7\u00e3o a Pequim e, sobretudo, a Wuhan, o basti\u00e3o da Dongfeng. Em julho, pouco mais de um m\u00eas ap\u00f3s a sua nomea\u00e7\u00e3o, chegou \u00e0 China rodeado por mais de uma dezena de quadros superiores, incluindo os patr\u00f5es mundiais da Peugeot e da Citro\u00ebn, para se encontrar com Yang Qing, presidente da Dongfeng, e com os respons\u00e1veis da zona econ\u00f3mica de Wuhan. O objetivo declarado era \"reparar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o\" e lan\u00e7ar as bases para uma coopera\u00e7\u00e3o mais estreita no dom\u00ednio dos ve\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas visitas tiveram lugar ao mais alto n\u00edvel: John Elkann, Presidente da Stellantis e da Ferrari, deslocou-se \u00e0 China em fevereiro para se \"aconselhar\" sobre a forma de acelerar a eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o do grupo; em agosto, Xavier Chardon (Citro\u00ebn) e Alain Favey (Peugeot) seguiram o exemplo, analisando de perto o ecossistema local de baterias e infra-estruturas de recarga. Um ballet diplom\u00e1tico que contrasta radicalmente com os anos de sil\u00eancio e retra\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uma nova organiza\u00e7\u00e3o que coloca a China no centro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A reorganiza\u00e7\u00e3o anunciada em 8 de outubro de 2025 confirma esta viragem estrat\u00e9gica. Gr\u00e9goire Olivier, um veterano do Grupo e especialista no mercado asi\u00e1tico, \u00e9 agora respons\u00e1vel pela China e pela \u00c1sia-Pac\u00edfico, com um lugar no Comit\u00e9 Executivo da Stellantis. Por outras palavras: a China j\u00e1 n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas mais um mercado, mas um pilar da nossa estrat\u00e9gia global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dongfeng e Leapmotor, uma aposta dupla<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A estrat\u00e9gia da Stellantis na China \u00e9 atualmente dupla. A primeira \u00e9 tradicional: retomar o contacto com Dongfeng, o nosso parceiro de longa data, para relan\u00e7ar a produ\u00e7\u00e3o local e tirar partido do s\u00f3lido ecossistema industrial de Wuhan. A segunda \u00e9 mais ousada: apostar na Leapmotor, uma start-up el\u00e9ctrica chinesa na qual a Stellantis investiu 1,5 mil milh\u00f5es de euros at\u00e9 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta dupla abordagem - coopera\u00e7\u00e3o industrial tradicional e alian\u00e7a tecnol\u00f3gica inovadora - pode dar frutos... ou semear novas ambiguidades. Tudo depender\u00e1 da capacidade do grupo para coordenar os seus esfor\u00e7os e produzir rapidamente ve\u00edculos competitivos adaptados \u00e0s necessidades locais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trata-se de uma quest\u00e3o urgente<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Porque se o Stellantis est\u00e1 de novo a bater \u00e0 porta da China, n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas por uma quest\u00e3o de conquista. Os n\u00fameros falam por si: no primeiro semestre de 2025, as vendas mundiais do grupo diminu\u00edram 8 %, o volume de neg\u00f3cios 13 % e as perdas l\u00edquidas atingiram 2,3 mil milh\u00f5es de euros. Desde o in\u00edcio do ano, a avalia\u00e7\u00e3o do grupo em Mil\u00e3o desceu quase 30 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neste contexto, a China j\u00e1 n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas um mercado a \"testar\", mas um poss\u00edvel salvador. Um lugar onde a Stellantis pode n\u00e3o s\u00f3 vender, mas tamb\u00e9m aprender (baterias, recarga ultra-r\u00e1pida, integra\u00e7\u00e3o de software) e trazer esse know-how para a Europa e a Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O caminho vai ser longo. A Stellantis continua a ter a imagem de um fabricante hesitante, cujas marcas perderam terreno junto dos clientes chineses. A recupera\u00e7\u00e3o desta confian\u00e7a exigir\u00e1 produtos competitivos, redes mais fortes e a capacidade de estabelecer uma presen\u00e7a a longo prazo no ecossistema local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como resumiu um analista de Pequim: \"A verdadeira quest\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 se o Stellantis regressa \u00e0 China, mas se pode finalmente tornar-se um ator autom\u00f3vel chin\u00eas -
