Dependendo do seu ponto de vista, um <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/ferrari\/\">Ferrari<\/a> com um motor Honda \u00e9 visto como brilhante ou sacr\u00edlego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O Ferrari 308: a primeira berlina V8<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Quer tenha demorado mais de dois anos a ser constru\u00eddo, quer o produto final seja magn\u00edfico, este 308 extensivamente modificado foi constru\u00eddo por Mike Burroughs da StanceWorks, um afinador estabelecido no sector, para competir no World Time Attack Challenge Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mike p\u00f4s os olhos num Ferrari 308 GTBi amarelo de 1981, que considerava \"pouco potente, demasiado pesado e demasiado caro\", e come\u00e7ou a torn\u00e1-lo mais leve e mais r\u00e1pido. O objetivo era construir um Ferrari Time Attack. Com origem no Jap\u00e3o, estes eventos s\u00e3o competi\u00e7\u00f5es de voltas r\u00e1pidas, ou \"hotlaps\", como s\u00e3o conhecidos na g\u00edria dos jogos de corridas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O que tinha de acontecer, aconteceu: adeus ao V8 de 2,9 litros de Maranello e abrir caminho para a \"troca\", a famosa substitui\u00e7\u00e3o do motor!  Utilizando um motor Honda K24 turboalimentado, Mike construiu muitas das pe\u00e7as do Ferrari, incluindo os tubos de \u00f3leo para o c\u00e1rter seco e os sistemas de arrefecimento. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8 ou 4 cilindros?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Para al\u00e9m da suspens\u00e3o, carro\u00e7aria e chassis feitos \u00e0 medida, o cora\u00e7\u00e3o do carro \u00e9 agora um motor Honda K24 de 2,4 litros. \u00c9 certo que estamos a passar de 8 para 4 cilindros, mas estamos a ganhar em termos de pot\u00eancia e, acima de tudo, de peso.  O sobrealimentador vem de um turbo Garrett G42-1000 e funciona sob o controlo de um sistema Haltech Nexus R5, com feedback num painel de instrumentos. \u00c9 utilizada uma caixa de velocidades sequencial de competi\u00e7\u00e3o Quaife de 5 velocidades. H\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m a quest\u00e3o do peso: retirar quatro cilindros significa obviamente um ve\u00edculo mais leve. E n\u00e3o se esque\u00e7a de considerar a fiabilidade, a acessibilidade dos acess\u00f3rios e, claro, o pre\u00e7o. Os produtos forjados e os componentes do turbo custam dinheiro, \u00e9 certo, mas quando o pre\u00e7o inicial do seu motor \u00e9 de apenas 700 $, sobra-lhe algum dinheiro para brincar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pot\u00eancia multiplicada por 4,5!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No modo de baixa sobrealimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, o motor tem uma pot\u00eancia nominal de 640 bhp nas rodas traseiras, mas h\u00e1 planos para aumentar esta pot\u00eancia para 1000 bhp. O chassis, no entanto, teve dificuldades em lidar com tal pot\u00eancia. O 308 assemelha-se aos monstros de carro\u00e7aria da classe IMSA GTO do final dos anos 80, como o Audi 90 Quattro, com os seus guarda-lamas alargados, entrada de ar frontal larga, saias laterais e spoiler traseiro imponente. O carro, oficialmente chamado de Ferrari 244 GTK, foi inscrito na classe Open Turbocharged do 2023 World Time Attack Challenge e terminou bem fora do ritmo. No seu regresso aos EUA, Burroughs levou o Ferrari para a final do Global Time Attack no Buttonwillow Raceway Park, na Calif\u00f3rnia. Embora o shakedown tenha decorrido sem problemas, o primeiro dia de competi\u00e7\u00e3o terminou mal. Durante uma volta, o motor decidiu deixar cair uma biela atrav\u00e9s do c\u00e1rter de \u00f3leo de alum\u00ednio, destruindo outras pe\u00e7as caras no processo.
