O motor 1.2L PureTech \u00e9, desde h\u00e1 muito, a pedra angular da estrat\u00e9gia de combust\u00e3o da empresa. Stellantis<\/a>. <\/strong>Mas tamb\u00e9m tem uma reputa\u00e7\u00e3o a manter, forjada por anos de problemas t\u00e9cnicos, em particular os ligados \u00e0 correia de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00f3leo, presente nas vers\u00f5es Gen1 e Gen2. Foi um erro t\u00e9cnico dispendioso que manchou definitivamente a imagem deste motor, muito utilizado nos modelos Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel, Jeep e DS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uma reputa\u00e7\u00e3o a reconstruir<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Desde 2023, a Stellantis tentou virar a p\u00e1gina com a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o da terceira gera\u00e7\u00e3o do 1.2L, o PureTech EB2 Gen3, <\/strong>incorporando finalmente uma transmiss\u00e3o por corrente muito mais fi\u00e1vel, corrigindo as defici\u00eancias das gera\u00e7\u00f5es anteriores. Este motor pode agora ser encontrado numa vasta gama de ve\u00edculos<\/a>incluindo modelos h\u00edbridos como o Fiat 600, o Lancia Ypsilon, oAlfa Romeo J\u00fanior<\/strong>Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel e Jeep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No entanto, apesar destas melhorias, a imagem do PureTech continuou a ser demasiado negativa para ser mantida. Por conseguinte A Stellantis retirou discretamente a designa\u00e7\u00e3o \"PureTech\" dos cat\u00e1logos em setembro de 2024,<\/strong> substituindo-o simplesmente por palavras como \"H\u00edbrido\" ou \"1.2 H\u00edbrido Turbo\", consoante a marca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

T-Gen 3: uma nova identidade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mas esta transi\u00e7\u00e3o sem nome n\u00e3o durou muito tempo. Ap\u00f3s v\u00e1rios meses de sil\u00eancio, Um novo nome apareceu discretamente no cat\u00e1logo da Fiat em maio de 2025: T-Gen 3. <\/strong>A partir de agora, os motores h\u00edbridos da marca italiana ser\u00e3o conhecidos como \"T-Gen 3 1.2 Hybrid Turbo\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflecte uma estrat\u00e9gia de renova\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica em torno do motor EB2 de 3\u00aa gera\u00e7\u00e3o,<\/strong> e, ao mesmo tempo, capitalizar um nome mais neutro e at\u00e9 mais poderoso: \"T\" de \"Turbo\", \"Gen3\" para significar claramente a nova gera\u00e7\u00e3o. Uma forma inteligente de recuperar o controlo sobre a hist\u00f3ria deste motor e de o dissociar das gera\u00e7\u00f5es anteriores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De momento, esta nova designa\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00f3 aparece nas comunica\u00e7\u00f5es oficiais da Fiat. No que respeita a Lancia<\/strong>Na Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel e Jeep, o termo \"Hybrid\" continua a ser utilizado, simplesmente \"1.2 Hybrid Turbo\". Na Alfa Romeo, domina o termo \"Ibrida 1.2L\", e na Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel e Jeep, o termo \"Hybrid\" continua a ser utilizado nas brochuras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mas tudo leva a crer que a T-Gen 3 se vai tornar o nome t\u00e9cnico padr\u00e3o em todo o grupo Stellantis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O mesmo motor, mas um nome mais vendido<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

De um ponto de vista t\u00e9cnico, este T-Gen 3, ou EB2 GEN3, marca uma verdadeira rutura com o EB2 GEN2 de 1,2L puretech: corrente de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o, melhor lubrifica\u00e7\u00e3o, menor necessidade de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o. Este motor j\u00e1 equipa uma vasta gama de modelos de combust\u00e3o interna e h\u00edbridos ligeiros, incluindo ve\u00edculos eDCT de dupla embraiagem.
