Os sistemas de escape parecem sup\u00e9rfluos num ve\u00edculo el\u00e9trico, que n\u00e3o gera gases de escape. E no entanto.., <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/stellantis\/\">Stellantis<\/a> pode muito bem ter encontrado uma forma de integrar esse sistema nos seus ve\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos por uma raz\u00e3o muito espec\u00edfica: a seguran\u00e7a.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conforme relatado no <em>relat\u00f3rios verdes<\/em>Em 16 de janeiro, o Instituto de Patentes e Marcas dos Estados Unidos (USPTO) publicou <strong>uma patente registada pela Stellantis em 2023 para um sistema de escape para ve\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos.<\/strong> O objetivo? A falha t\u00e9rmica pode fazer com que a bateria liberte gases inflam\u00e1veis, como hidrog\u00e9nio, metano, etileno ou butano. Estes gases podem inflamar-se com as altas temperaturas geradas pela bateria avariada, criando um risco de inc\u00eandio. <strong>Stellantis prop\u00f5e um sistema de controlo destes gases, eliminando-os ou reduzindo a sua quantidade antes de se tornarem uma amea\u00e7a.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A patente registada pela Stellantis descreve <strong>um sistema de escape para libertar a press\u00e3o da bateria enquanto trata quimicamente estes gases<\/strong>. Isto faz lembrar a forma como os conversores catal\u00edticos funcionam nos ve\u00edculos de combust\u00e3o interna, tratando os gases de escape para reduzir a sua toxicidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Stellantis concebeu novas plataformas modulares STLA capazes de acomodar tanto motores de combust\u00e3o interna como motores el\u00e9ctricos. Isto significa que um sistema de escape pode ser integrado tanto em ve\u00edculos de combust\u00e3o como em ve\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O exemplo mais recente da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o destas plataformas modulares \u00e9 <strong>o sistema de escape concebido para o Dodge Charger Daytona EV<\/strong>. Embora n\u00e3o seja utilizado para tratar gases inflam\u00e1veis, este sistema gera as vibra\u00e7\u00f5es e o ru\u00eddo carater\u00edsticos de um motor V-8, a fim de recriar a experi\u00eancia sonora e sensorial de um autom\u00f3vel com motor de combust\u00e3o. Em 2019, a Bosch prop\u00f4s uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o pirot\u00e9cnica para cortar rapidamente as liga\u00e7\u00f5es el\u00e9ctricas entre a bateria e o resto do ve\u00edculo em caso de rutura t\u00e9rmica. Estas solu\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o se destinam a evitar que o fen\u00f3meno ocorra em primeiro lugar, <strong>mas para limitar os danos uma vez ocorridos, tornando a resposta de emerg\u00eancia mais segura e mais r\u00e1pida.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A seguran\u00e7a dos ve\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos \u00e9 um tema frequentemente debatido.
