A partir de 2023, com a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o da terceira gera\u00e7\u00e3o deste motor, foi introduzida uma altera\u00e7\u00e3o importante: a sincroniza\u00e7\u00e3o por corrente substituiu a tradicional correia. Esta altera\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica foi concebida para melhorar a efici\u00eancia e a fiabilidade do motor PureTech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Problemas com a correia imersa em \u00f3leo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As primeiras vers\u00f5es do motor 1.2 PureTech da Stellantis (gera\u00e7\u00e3o 1 e gera\u00e7\u00e3o 2) utilizavam uma correia de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o imersa no \u00f3leo do motor. Embora esta configura\u00e7\u00e3o possa ter parecido inovadora na altura, depressa revelou algumas defici\u00eancias importantes. A correia tinha tend\u00eancia para se deteriorar mais rapidamente do que o esperado, libertando part\u00edculas que podiam obstruir o sistema de lubrifica\u00e7\u00e3o do motor. Estas obstru\u00e7\u00f5es podiam levar a perdas de pot\u00eancia, mau funcionamento e, nos casos mais graves, a avarias cuja repara\u00e7\u00e3o era dispendiosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perante estes problemas, Stellantis teve de intervir, com campanhas de recolha que afectaram quase 500 000 ve\u00edculos, principalmente modelos Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, DS, Opel e Jeep. A corrente est\u00e1 mais bem adaptada \u00e0s condi\u00e7\u00f5es de condu\u00e7\u00e3o modernas, nomeadamente nos trajectos urbanos curtos, onde os motores t\u00eam um trabalho particularmente intenso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O objetivo deste desenvolvimento t\u00e9cnico \u00e9 reduzir a necessidade de interven\u00e7\u00e3o na oficina, aumentar a longevidade do motor e simplificar a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o. Al\u00e9m disso, os motores de corrente n\u00e3o precisam de ser substitu\u00eddos com tanta frequ\u00eancia como os motores de correia, oferecendo uma maior fiabilidade a longo prazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Os modelos afectados por esta altera\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e1rios modelos do Stellantis Group j\u00e1 est\u00e3o equipados com esta nova vers\u00e3o do motor 1.2 PureTech de corrente, que est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel nas vers\u00f5es h\u00edbrida e n\u00e3o h\u00edbrida, com transmiss\u00e3o manual e autom\u00e1tica eDCT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segue-se uma lista dos Stellantis melhora a fiabilidade do motor, reduzindo os custos de repara\u00e7\u00e3o e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o para os propriet\u00e1rios. \u00c9 de salientar que, na Europa, todos os novos modelos Stellantis com motores de combust\u00e3o utilizam a 3\u00aa gera\u00e7\u00e3o 1.2L, apesar de a designa\u00e7\u00e3o Puretech ter sido retirada de todas as comunica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do lado italiano, um Fiat Grande Panda, Alfa Romeo Junior ou Lancia Ypsilon t\u00eam este motor 1.2L de 3\u00aa gera\u00e7\u00e3o. Embora j\u00e1 n\u00e3o se chame Puretech, este \u00e9 um motor que ter\u00e1 uma longa carreira pela frente, uma vez que muitos autom\u00f3veis novos na Europa o utilizar\u00e3o.
