Hij volgde de Lancia Gamma op en maakte deel uit van het Type 4-project, een gemeenschappelijk platform dat werd ontwikkeld met de Fiat Croma, de Alfa Romeo 164 en de Saab 9000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het ontwerp van de Thema, ontworpen door Giorgetto Giugiaro, onderscheidt zich door zijn sobere, elegante lijnen. Hij combineert comfort, technologie en prestaties en biedt een brede waaier aan motoren, van zuinige diesels tot zeer sportieve versies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De meest emblematische versie was de Thema 8.32, uitgerust met een V8-motor die was afgeleid van Ferrari, waardoor het een van de meest prestigieuze sedans van zijn tijd was. De Thema werd in meer dan 350.000 exemplaren geproduceerd en werd in 1994 vervangen door de Lancia
