Deze tweede generatie is echter geen Italiaans 100 % ontwerp: hij is het resultaat van een samenwerking tussen Fiat en Chrysler en is gebaseerd op de Chrysler 300. Hij werd in maart 2011 voorgesteld op het autosalon van Gen\u00e8ve en belichaamt Lancia's poging om zich opnieuw te positioneren in het segment van de grote luxesedans in Europa. Met zijn statusbewuste styling, luxueuze interieur (Poltrona Frau leder op sommige versies) en krachtige motoren mikte hij op een professionele klantenkring in het hogere segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zijn carri\u00e8re was van korte duur: geconfronteerd met bescheiden verkoopcijfers en de strategische reorganisatie van de Groep, werd de productie in 2014
