Maar sinds het einde van het seizoen 2025 beschikt de Brit over een nieuw, nog spectaculairder wapen. Als je dan toch een 4C-motor gebruikt, kun je net zo goed ook het chassis en de carrosserie van de sportwagen uit Milaan nemen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De blauwe Alfa Romeo 4C met nummer 87 is ontwikkeld door Alfa Workshop, een zeer gerenommeerde tuningfirma in Engeland die heeft meegewerkt aan talrijke racewagens die deelnemen aan het HITEK Alfa Romeo &amp; Italian Intermarque Championship. Ook de diffuser en de achtervleugel zijn aangepast. Het geheel is minder radicaal dan de door Revs Italia geprepareerde variant, maar het resultaat blijft spectaculair. De kit verschilt per circuit, met een splitter die al naargelang de configuratie van het circuit meer of minder prominent aanwezig is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een 1750 Tbi-motor die tot het uiterste wordt gedreven!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We komen nu bij de kern van de zaak: het mechanische gedeelte is nog steeds gebaseerd op de Alfa Romeo 1750 TBi-motor, maar deze is grondig aangepast. De exacte specificaties zijn niet bekend, maar de aanpassingen lijken te berusten op een cilinderinhoud die is vergroot tot 1,95 \/ 2,0 liter. De motor maakt gebruik van een raceturbocompressor met grote capaciteit en een volledig herzien motormanagement. De foto\u2019s tonen verschillende typische aanpassingen: extra slangen, optimalisatie van het koelsysteem, snelle toegang tot het expansievat en verbeterd thermisch beheer. De motorruimte blijft ondanks het hoge vermogen verrassend compact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bij de laatste test op de testbank bedroeg het door Alfa Workshop opgegeven vermogen ongeveer 580 ch! Een indrukwekkend resultaat voor een 4C, namelijk meer dan het dubbele van het standaardvermogen, dat 240 ch bedroeg. De auto lijkt veel meer op een race-GT, ontwikkeld op basis van een carbonchassis van de 4C, dan op een eenvoudige serietuning. De TCT C635-versnellingsbak lijkt te zijn behouden, maar is versterkt om een koppel te kunnen weerstaan dat waarschijnlijk tussen de 700 en 800 Nm ligt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Indrukwekkende loopwerken<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Op de foto\u2019s is een Nitron-wedstrijdvering te zien met schroefdraadcombinaties, Uniball-kogelgewrichten en een volledig instelbare wielgeometrie. De vooras lijkt ingrijpend te zijn aangepast met een speciaal ontworpen draagframe. De zichtbare stuurstang is anders gemonteerd dan in de originele uitvoering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/alfa-4C-hitek-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51727\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/alfa-4C-hitek-3.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/alfa-4C-hitek-3-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/alfa-4C-hitek-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/alfa-4C-hitek-3-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het doel is om de bump steer (de \u00abverandering in de sporing\u00bb wanneer de wielen bij het overrijden van een hobbel vanzelf een andere richting inslaan, zonder tussenkomst van de bestuurder of het stuur) te verminderen, de precisie te verbeteren en de kinematica van de vooras te optimaliseren. De aanwezigheid van een speciale voorste stabilisatorstang is duidelijk zichtbaar; deze is gemonteerd op speciale lagers en kan per circuit worden verwisseld om de afstelling te verfijnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voorlopig aan kop in het kampioenschap van 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jack Berry heeft de leiding in het kampioenschap overgenomen; met verschillende polepositions en overwinningen in zijn klasse op zijn naam heeft de auto zich op de Britse circuits uiterst competitief getoond. Met een vermogen van ongeveer 580 ch bij een gewicht van bijna een ton behoort deze Alfa Workshop 4C waarschijnlijk tot de best presterende Alfa Romeo-racewagens die momenteel in actie
