Hoewel het chassis al snel zijn beperkingen liet zien, vooral in de regen, presenteerde de kleine Italiaanse auto zich heel goed en werd hij bovenal aangedreven door een zeer hardwerkende 1,3-liter motor die zorgvuldig was afgesteld. De Italianen hadden opnieuw hun expertise op dit gebied bewezen: natriumgekoelde kleppen, gesmede stalen krukas, geventileerde injectoren, watergekoelde IHI turbo. Het elektronische management werd verzorgd door een Bosch Jetronic regeleenheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De Fiat Uno Turbo ie leverde 105 pk bij 5.750 tpm en 147 Nm koppel bij 3.200 tpm. Hij haalde zelfs een topsnelheid van 200 km\/u, sprintte van 0 naar 100 in 7,7 seconden en was snel weg. De Fiat Uno, auto van het jaar 1984, werd 11 miljoen keer verkocht! Er was zelfs een Groep A rallyversie, die veel bestuurders hun eerste rallyervaring gaf!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een zeer hoog lokaal niveau<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deze Fiat Uno Turbo ie mk1 werd gezien op de slalom Predappio - Rocca delle Camminate, in Emilia-Romagna, tijdens de laatste ronde van het kampioenschap Coppa Romagna 2025. In 2024 had coureur Luca Angelozzi voor zijn eerste deelname aan een serieuze en competitieve slalom te maken met een auto die was afgesteld voor dragracen, met wegbanden, geen antidiefstalsysteem en volgens hem \u201congeschikte instellingen\u201d. Toch werden zijn inspanningen beloond met een 6e plaats in de klasse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Veel Abarth in deze Uno<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dit zeer goed geprepareerde model maakt echter geen gebruik van de originele 4-cilinder I.E., maar van een 1,4-liter motor die is afgeleid van de 500 Abarth. Tijdens de race was de auto ingesteld op de stille modus, met een GBC 300 turbo die 270 pk ontwikkelt. Volgens de tuners kan hij zelfs 385 pk halen bij 8.200 tpm met een GBC 350 turbo. We zijn in een andere dimensie! Ook binnenin is de jaren \u201c80 sfeer verdwenen en heeft de auto plaatsgemaakt voor een gestripte cabine en moderne apparatuur, van het stuurwiel tot de versnellingspook en het instrumentenpaneel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"270 PK Fiat Uno Turbo race Predappio heuvelklim -
