Nog maar een paar maanden geleden was de Kragujevac-fabriek in Servi\u00eb een symbool geworden van de industri\u00eble problemen waarmee het land te kampen heeft. Stellantis<\/a>. Vertragingen in de productie, druk op het personeel, Italiaanse werknemers die zich naar de locatie haastten om de lokale teams te ondersteunen: de lancering van de nieuwe Fiat Grande Panda<\/a> leek meer op een race tegen de klok dan op een industrieel succesverhaal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We spraken onlangs over een plant dicht bij maximale productie<\/a>, Dit ondanks een gespannen sociale context die werd gekenmerkt door de afschaffing van de aprilbonus voor Servische werknemers. Maar een paar dagen later laat het laatste nieuws uit Servi\u00eb een nog spectaculairder schaalverandering zien. Volgens Petar Veselinovi\u0107, een professor aan de economische faculteit in Kragujevac, zou de productie van de vestiging tegen 2026 kunnen oplopen tot 150.000 voertuigen per jaar, dankzij het commerci\u00eble succes van de Fiat Grande Panda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een versnelling die alles verandert<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Het cijfer is verre van onbeduidend. Met een dergelijk volume zou de Servische fabriek alleen al bijna 45 % van de huidige Stellantis-productie in Itali\u00eb vertegenwoordigen, waar de volumes zijn gedaald tot ongeveer 380.000 voertuigen per jaar, vergeleken met 750.000 een paar jaar geleden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deze stijging kan vooral worden verklaard door de sterke vraag naar de Fiat Grande Panda, met name in zijn verbrandings- en hybrideversies. Zoals we onlangs hebben uitgelegd, zijn het vooral de benzinemodellen met de 1,2-litermotor die momenteel de Servische productielijnen domineren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De vestiging in Kragujevac heeft nu een veel stabielere organisatie dan eind 2025. Na een chaotische start lijkt de fabriek zijn industri\u00eble ritme te hebben gevonden. En om deze productiestijging op te vangen, bereidt Stellantis al een nieuwe fase voor: de invoering van weekenddiensten vanaf juni. Volgens de Servische media zouden er de komende weken enkele honderden nieuwe banen kunnen worden gecre\u00eberd om gelijke tred te houden met deze productieverhoging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Servi\u00eb wordt een strategische schakel voor Stellantis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Meer dan 90 % van de voertuigen die in Kragujevac worden geproduceerd, zijn bestemd voor de Europese markt. Sommige worden ook ge\u00ebxporteerd naar Afrika en Azi\u00eb. Net als Spanje speelt Servi\u00eb een steeds belangrijkere rol in de industri\u00eble strategie van de Groep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deze ontwikkeling illustreert ook een bredere verandering in de Europese auto-industrie. Servi\u00eb, dat lange tijd werd gezien als een land met lage loonkosten, wordt geleidelijk aan een strategisch platform voor de productie van hybride en elektrische voertuigen. Volgens de lokale media trekt het land veel internationale fabrikanten aan. Chinese bedrijven produceren al onderdelen voor topmerken als Mercedes-Benz en BMW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
