Deze keer hebben de gevolgen rechtstreeks betrekking op de Franse overheidsfinanci\u00ebn. De openbare investeringsbank Bpifrance, waarvan de Franse staat aandeelhouder is via een belang van 6,65 % in de autogroep, heeft onlangs cijfers verstrekt om dit aan te tonen: ondanks een recordjaar van activiteit zal de winstgevendheid in 2025 met 44 % zijn gedaald. Met andere woorden, de crisis bij de autogroep is niet alleen een industri\u00eble of beurscrisis. Het wordt macro-economisch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een recordjaar... dat slecht afliep<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Op papier had 2025 een uitstekend jaar moeten zijn voor Bpifrance. De instelling injecteerde een ongekende \u20ac72 miljard in de Franse economie, met leningen aan bedrijven in de lift, massale steun voor de industrie en meer investeringen in innovatie, AI en de energietransitie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haar rol als \u00abanticyclische bank\u00bb werkte op volle toeren, met garanties van meer dan 30 miljard euro en eigen vermogen tot 30 miljard euro. Maar toen het op de rekeningen aankwam, was de realiteit heel anders: de netto-inkomsten daalden tot 501 miljoen euro, vergeleken met 896 miljoen het jaar daarvoor. De belangrijkste reden hiervoor is niet te vinden in KMO's, innovatie of de ecologische transitie. Het zit hem in de auto-industrie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stellantis, voornamelijk verantwoordelijk voor het gat in de boekhouding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bpifrance is de derde grootste aandeelhouder van Stellantis, na Exor en EPF (\u00c9tablissement Peugeot Fr\u00e8res). Deze strategische positie betekent ook dat Bpifrance sterk afhankelijk is van de dividenden van de groep. Maar deze dividenden zijn gekelderd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het dividend dat in 2025 wordt uitgekeerd, is meer dan gehalveerd, wat resulteert in een negatieve impact van 168 miljoen euro voor de overheidsbank. En de situatie zal nog verslechteren in het nieuwe jaar, want Stellantis heeft al aangekondigd dat het in 2026 helemaal geen dividend zal uitkeren na <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/stellantis\/stellantis-kondigt-een-lastenverlichting-van-22-miljard-euro-aan-en-geen-dividend-voor-aandeelhouders\/\">een nettoverlies als gevolg van bijzondere lasten van \u20ac 22 miljard<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit punt is essentieel: de daling van de winstgevendheid van Bpifrance is geen weerspiegeling van een vertraging van de Franse economie, maar weerspiegelt rechtstreeks de moeilijkheden van een autofabrikant. Chief Executive Nicolas Dufourcq geeft impliciet toe dat om de intrinsieke prestaties van Bpifrance te begrijpen, je bepaalde belangrijke participaties vrijwel moet neutraliseren... waaronder Stellantis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Het domino-effect van de strategische reset<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het verband met de recente aankondigingen van de groep onder leiding van Antonio Filosa is nu duidelijk. De \u00abreset\u00bb die begin februari werd aangekondigd (stopzetten van elektriciteitsprojecten, massale afschrijvingen, prioritering van de balans en opschorting van het dividend) was bedoeld om het bedrijf weer een gezonde financi\u00eble basis te geven. Maar deze strategie verplaatst de pijn onmiddellijk naar de aandeelhouders, inclusief de publieke aandeelhouders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In tegenstelling tot een particuliere aandeelhouder ondervindt de Franse staat hier een dubbel effect. Enerzijds blijven de Europese industri\u00eble vestigingen onder druk staan, met dalende volumes. Anderzijds vermindert de daling van de dividenden rechtstreeks de indirecte financi\u00eble middelen van de overheid. De crisis in de auto-industrie is dus een budgettaire crisis geworden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een symbool van de industri\u00eble zwakheden van Europa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bpifrance werd niet alleen gestraft door Stellantis. Negatieve resultaten van STMicroelectronics en Soitec wogen ook zwaar, wat bewijst dat de vertraging de hele Europese industri\u00eble technologieketen treft. Maar de autofabrikant blijft de veroorzakende factor en politiek het meest zichtbaar. Want via hem toont een heel deel van de Europese industri\u00eble strategie zijn financi\u00eble limieten op korte termijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze nieuwe episode verandert de perceptie van de \u00abreset\u00bb van Stellantis. Tot nu toe geanalyseerd als een intern strategisch keerpunt, is het een zaak van nationaal belang geworden voor Frankrijk. Wanneer het dividend van een autoconcern de winstgevendheid van de openbare investeringsbank 44 % vermindert, gaat de kwestie verder dan de industrie alleen. Het heeft invloed op de financiering van de economie, het industriebeleid en de rol van de staat als aandeelhouder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De volgende Investor Day in mei zal daarom niet alleen dienen als een routekaart voor Stellantis.
