Hij gebruikte de briljante 1,3-liter motor van de Fiat 128 Rally, die 75 pk kon leveren, evenals vier schijfremmen en vier onafhankelijke ophangingen, maar had een achterste middenmotorarchitectuur. X1\/9 betekent gewoon dat dit de 9e ontwikkeling van de X1-projecten is (X0 staat voor motoren, X1 voor personenauto's en X2 voor bedrijfswagens).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-jaune.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44035\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-jaune.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-jaune-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-jaune-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-jaune-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>De auto was gebaseerd op een concept van Bertone en was bedoeld als een kleine, veilige en moderne sportauto met middenmotor. De auto is ontworpen door Marcello Gandini en heeft een wigvormige styling en een achtersteven dat eindigt in een 'coda tronca' of 'Kamm staart'. De originele kenmerken zijn onder andere inschuifbare koplampen en een bumper die in twee delen is verdeeld met twee rubberen rozetten die het centrale deel onbedekt laten. De Fiat X 1\/9 viel in de smaak dankzij zijn mooie uiterlijk, evenwichtige chassis en uitstekende prestaties. Het was een groot succes in de Verenigde Staten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De 131 doodde me<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Abarth was ge\u00efnteresseerd in de Fiat X1\/9 en zocht een opvolger voor de Fiat-Abarth 124 Rally. Het resultaat was een prototype met een achterspoiler, een grote 'periscoop' luchtinlaat, bredere wielkasten en flitsende bumpers die nog beter opvielen door de rode en geelgroene kleurstelling van de Fiat-Abarth 124 Rallys van dit seizoen. De prototypes, die werden ingeschreven in Groep 5, namen deel aan rally's en wonnen de Rallye des Alpes Orientales op nationaal niveau. De 500 auto's die nodig waren voor de homologatie voor Groep 4 werden nooit geproduceerd, omdat\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/fiat\/\">FIAT<\/a> koos ervoor om zich te richten op de 131 om te profiteren van de commerci\u00eble spin-offs van de overwinningen van de auto in de competitie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-rally.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44034\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-rally.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-rally-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-rally-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/fiat-x19-rally-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Fiat X1\/9's hebben eindelijk een tweede leven gekregen in de heuvelklimvoorbereiding, binnen de E2SH 2000-categorie. Dit is het geval voor Gianluca Ticci, een coureur uit Genua die in 2013 begon te racen met Fiat X1\/9's, aanvankelijk in de 1300cc-versie. Hij rijdt voor Scuderia Sport Favale, waarvan de oprichter Sergio de Martini in de jaren 80 al racete met Groep 3 X1\/9's! Verschillende bronnen lijken te bevestigen dat de cilinderkop afkomstig is van een Ferrari 308 V8. Het vermogen ligt rond de 285 pk, met een geschatte topsnelheid van 9.000 tpm: het geluid is Dantesque! Op papier is dit vermogen niet ongelooflijk, aangezien sommige bergbeklimmers makkelijk 600\/700 pk halen. Maar het vederlichte gewicht van 690 kg van het prototype zorgt voor een formidabele vermogen-gewichtsverhouding. In het \"Cronoscalate\" kampioenschap, tijdens de beklimming van de 41\u1d49 Vittorio Veneto - Cansiglio 2023, eindigde Ticci 5\u1d49 in het absolute klassement (van de ~110 deelnemers), en 1\u1d49\u02b3 in zijn groep (E2SH).
