De Japanse supercar werd geboren in 1990 en markeerde een hele generatie met zijn atmosferische V6, zijn scherpe chassis... en Ayrton Senna's betrokkenheid bij de ontwikkeling ervan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2026 is het de beurt aan\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/italdesign-giugiaro\/\">Italdesign<\/a> een eerbetoon aan deze legende met een exclusieve creatie genaamd de NSX Tribute. En na een opmerkelijke eerste verschijning op de Tokyo Auto Salon, zal deze neo-retro interpretatie nu te zien zijn op de Milano Design Week, van 20 tot 26 april 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een fusie van verleden en heden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In tegenstelling tot wat je zou denken, is deze NSX Tribute niet gebaseerd op het originele model uit de jaren 90, maar op de tweede generatie die tussen 2016 en 2022 is geproduceerd. De achterspoiler doet onmiddellijk denken aan het silhouet van de originele NSX, terwijl de luchtinlaat op het dak, ge\u00efnspireerd op de uiterst zeldzame NSX-R GT, een radicale dimensie toevoegt. Aan de voorkant hebben de ontwerpers zelfs een illusie van de beroemde intrekbare koplampen gecre\u00eberd dankzij subtiel ge\u00efntegreerde \u201coogleden\u201d. En daar houdt de knipoog niet op: de rode Honda-badges op de voor- en achterzijde doen denken aan de legendarische NSX-R, net als de wielkern van de speciale velgen met Yokohama-banden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een eerbetoon onderschreven door Honda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze creatie is geen eenvoudige stylingstudie of een restomod. Italdesign benadrukt dat dit een \u201cfew-off\u201d project is, een ultra-gelimiteerde productierun op basis van bestaande auto's. Concreet betekent dit dat klanten hun eigen NSX van de tweede generatie moeten leveren, die vervolgens door de studio van boven tot onder wordt getransformeerd. De cabine blijft trouw aan het origineel, hoewel personalisatieopties een vleugje exclusiviteit toevoegen. In 2018 liet de studio zich al opmerken met de GT-R50 die samen met Nissan werd ontwikkeld en voor bijna een miljoen euro werd verkocht. Een lagere prijs voor deze NSX Tribute is moeilijk voorstelbaar, gezien het hoge niveau van transformatie en exclusiviteit. Vooral omdat de technische basis indrukwekkend blijft, met de 3,5-liter twin-turbo V6 hybride die afhankelijk van de versie tot 600 pk ontwikkelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Met deze NSX Tribute neemt Italdesign geen genoegen met een eenvoudige revisie van een supercar. De Italiaanse studio laat zien dat het aura van de NSX intact blijft, meer dan dertig jaar na zijn geboorte. Deze creatie, een mix van Japans erfgoed bekrachtigd door Honda en Italiaanse expertise, belichaamt perfect het evenwicht tussen herinnering en innovatie. Hij is een collector's item op zich en vindt nu een logische thuis in Milaan, de hoofdstad van het design.
