Dat is het geval met het Lancia Pu+Ra Montecarlo project, het geesteskind van de Franse ontwerper Christopher Giroux, momenteel Senior Exterior Designer bij Ford in Duitsland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om de 50e verjaardag van de Lancia Beta Montecarlo te vieren, heeft hij ervoor gekozen om deze legendarische coup\u00e9 uit de jaren '70 opnieuw uit te vinden met een moderne interpretatie, trouw aan de geest van het originele model maar aangepast aan de nieuwe Pu+Ra stylingtaal. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/lancia\/\">Lancia<\/a> heeft sindsdien het HPE-concept ontwikkeld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Op zijn LinkedIn account legt Christopher Giroux uit dat hij er veel plezier aan beleefde om \"het originele gevoel en de sfeer van de jaren 70 te behouden, maar dan op een radicalere manier\". Zijn schetsen, die traditionele technieken combineren met moderne digitale tools zoals Photoshop en Blender, geven leven aan een coup\u00e9 die zowel uit het verleden lijkt te komen als in de toekomst geprojecteerd wordt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"748\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/lancia-beta-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41619\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/lancia-beta-1.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/lancia-beta-1-420x262.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/lancia-beta-1-768x479.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/lancia-beta-1-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>De iconische proporties en details van het model dat Paolo Martin in 1975 bij Pininfarina ontwierp, zijn er nog steeds: de donkere, strakke voorkant en het compacte, sportieve silhouet. Uit zijn chassis ontstond de legendarische Lancia Rally 037, de laatste achterwielaangedreven auto die een wereldtitel in het WRC won. Pu+Ra Montecarlo is geen eenvoudig grafisch experiment, maar overtuigt door zijn samenhang, alsof het ooit echt zou kunnen bestaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over de aandrijflijn heeft de ontwerper nog niets gezegd. De proporties en styling suggereren een elektrische aandrijving, maar sommige schetsen suggereren een hybride met een centrale motor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voorlopig concentreert Lancia zich op de lancering van de nieuwe Ypsilon, gevolgd door de toekomstige Gamma en Delta. Een sportcoup\u00e9 staat niet direct op de agenda.
