Maar de realiteit van de markt besliste anders. Geconfronteerd met <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/fiat\/fiat-500-elektrische-hybride-verkoop-daalt-nog-steeds-snel\/\">de ineenstorting van de verkoop van de elektrische 500 100 %<\/a>Fiat heeft zijn plannen moeten heroverwegen. In 2024 zal de voormalige CEO van Stellantis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/fiat\/carlos-tavares-bevestigt-dat-de-nieuwe-fiat-500-hybrid-eerder-komt-dan-verwacht\/\">kondigde eindelijk de komst aan van een 500 hybride gebaseerd op het nieuwe STLA City platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We zijn nu in september 2025 en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/fiat\/nieuwe-fiat-500-hybride-prijs-en-leverdatum-eindelijk-bekend-goed-nieuws-en-minder-goed-nieuws\/\">de eerste technische details van deze Fiat 500 hybride zijn nu bekend<\/a>. Op het eerste gezicht lijkt dit een goede zaak: hij is gemaakt in Itali\u00eb, met een Italiaanse motor, wat klinkt als een terugkeer naar zijn roots en eindelijk wat werk voor Italiaanse arbeiders. Je zou kunnen denken dat het verschil onbeduidend is, maar in werkelijkheid duurt het meer dan twee seconden langer om 100 km\/u te bereiken en verliest hij meer dan 10 km\/u aan topsnelheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En het meest verbazingwekkende zit ergens anders: zijn CO\u2082-uitstoot. Terwijl de vorige generatie tussen 119 en 128 g\/km uitstootte, haalt de nieuwe 120 g\/km. Hetzelfde geldt voor het brandstofverbruik, dat niet is verbeterd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technische keuzes die vragen oproepen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Waarom zo'n daling? Waarschijnlijk vanwege het nieuwe Fiat 500-platform, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/fiat\/nieuwe-fiat-500-hybride-2025-een-gewichtsprobleem\/?utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=nouvelle-fiat-500-hybride-2025-un-probleme-de-poids\">zwaarder dan de oude<\/a>emissienormen. Het is goed mogelijk dat Fiat de motor heeft moeten beperken om onder de emissienormen te blijven. Het probleem is dat het resultaat een stadsauto is die zwaarder, minder effici\u00ebnt en, paradoxaal genoeg, meer brandstof verbruikt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fiat-500-twin-air.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41566\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fiat-500-twin-air.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fiat-500-twin-air-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fiat-500-twin-air-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fiat-500-twin-air-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Het is een nog schrijnender paradox als je terugdenkt aan de 500 TwinAir, die tien jaar geleden werd aangeboden. De 85 pk sterke tweecilinder met turbo bood 145 Nm koppel en slechts 92 g\/km CO\u2082. De 0 tot 100 werd aangekondigd in 11 seconden. Fiat aarzelde destijds niet om de 500 te omschrijven als de \"wereldkampioen ecologie\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een nieuwe 500 hybride met alles om te bewijzen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fiat rekent erop dat deze nieuwe hybride versie de carri\u00e8re van de 500 met verbrandingsmotor nieuw leven kan inblazen, maar de gok lijkt riskant. Op papier lijkt het moeilijk te verdedigen om in 2025 een stadsauto te lanceren die minder effici\u00ebnt is dan de vorige generatie. Natuurlijk zijn er ook positieve punten, zoals dat de auto veiliger en technologisch geavanceerder is dan zijn voorganger.
