In werkelijkheid zullen specialisten hem herkend hebben: het is de PSA EP6 motor, die in Europa al bekend is in plug-in hybride (PHEV) vorm in modellen zoals de Peugeot 3008. Deze keer is de motor echter aangepast tot een eenvoudige hybride (HEV) versie en hij zou binnenkort in Europa kunnen verschijnen, ook in Italiaanse modellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een krachtigere 1.6L hybride motor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze 1,6-liter 4-cilinder turbomotor, die wordt geproduceerd in Chrysler's fabriek in Dundee in Michigan, levert in combinatie met een hybride versnellingsbak en twee elektromotoren nu 177 pk uit de verbrandingsmotor en 210 pk uit de hybride motor. Dit is een aanzienlijke toename in vermogen vergeleken met de huidige Europese plug-in versie, die beperkt is tot 150 pk benzine en 195 pk hybride (en 225 pk in de Peugeot 408). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ep6-usa-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40724\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ep6-usa-3.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ep6-usa-3-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ep6-usa-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ep6-usa-3-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Van Europa naar de VS en terug naar Europa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Na de Cherokee heeft Stellantis bevestigd dat ook de nieuwe Europese Jeep Compass deze 1.6L HEV zal gaan gebruiken. Het idee is duidelijk: een eenvoudig alternatief zonder opladen bieden aan klanten die niet willen overstappen op de 100 % elektrische, maar wel op zoek zijn naar effici\u00ebntiewinst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En daar houdt het verhaal niet op. Zoals Jean-Philippe Imparato, directeur van Stellantis Europe, uitlegde op de IAA Mobiliteitsbeurs in M\u00fcnchen, zal de volledig hybride technologie (HEV) de komende maanden geleidelijk worden ge\u00efntroduceerd in Europa, alvorens te worden uitgebreid naar de middelgrote en grote modellen van de groep. Stellantis verwacht ook de komst van nieuwe generaties MHEV's, HEV's en PHEV's met een grotere actieradius in de komende 24 tot 36 maanden. REEV's (range-extending hybrids) worden zelfs genoemd als een \"veelbelovende\" technologie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Italiaanse merken in de vuurlinie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In Europa zou deze 1,6-liter hybride, met de nodige aanpassingen, de huidige 1,6-liter PHEV-motor kunnen vervangen, die al goed bekend is. Wat de Italiaanse merken betreft, liggen er verschillende projecten op tafel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>De toekomstige Lancia Gamma, die volgend jaar wordt verwacht, zou hier wel eens van kunnen profiteren.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De toekomstige SUV van Alfa Romeo (A4U), die eind 2026 wordt onthuld, is ook een ideale kandidaat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Er gaan zelfs geruchten dat de motor misschien wordt gebruikt in de Alfa Romeo Junior, hoewel er nog niets is bevestigd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":40720,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_sitemap_exclude":false,"_sitemap_priority":"","_sitemap_frequency":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[29],"tags":[543],"class_list":["post-41189","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-stellantis","tag-ep6","generate-columns","tablet-grid-50","mobile-grid-100","grid-parent","grid-33"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
