Lancia<\/a> op 1 juli 2025 een persbericht uit ter gelegenheid van de onthulling van de nieuwe Ypsilon Rally6. In de offici\u00eble tekst ontsnapte \u00e9\u00e9n passage niet aan de aandacht van de liefhebbers: \"HF zal het bepalende kenmerk worden van alle high-performance versies van het nieuwe Lancia-gamma: vandaag op het Ypsilon-model en binnenkort in 2026 op de toekomstige Gamma en Delta met het \"HF Integrale\"-label.\"<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een paar uur later werd deze zin discreet uit het persbericht verwijderd, maar te laat: de informatie deed de ronde op sociale netwerken en forums. Dit is de eerste keer dat Lancia duidelijk melding maakt van de terugkeer van het legendarische 'HF Integrale'-label, dat direct wordt geassocieerd met het DNA van de vierwielaandrijving van de historische Delta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moeten we echt verrast zijn? Niet helemaal. Lancia's tijdschema is glashelder sinds de wedergeboorte onder het Stellantis-tijdperk: na de Ypsilon in 2024 en zijn HF-versie in 2025, komt de Gamma in 2026, gevolgd door de Gamma HF in 2027, dan de langverwachte Delta in 2028 en, logischerwijs, zijn HF-versie in 2029.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wat hier intrigeert is de expliciete vermelding van de aanduiding 'Integrale'. Het laat weinig twijfel bestaan over de transmissie: De Delta HF van morgen zal een voertuig met vierwielaandrijving zijn.<\/strong> Deze configuratie wordt mogelijk gemaakt door het STLA Medium-platform, waarvan al is aangekondigd dat het geschikt is voor elektrische vierwielaandrijving. Deze technische oplossing is bijvoorbeeld te vinden op de nieuwe Peugeot e-3008, waarvan de Dual Motor-versie tot 325 pk ontwikkelt dankzij een motor vooraan en een andere achteraan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maar 2029 is nog ver weg en in de tussentijd kan er nog veel veranderen. De kwestie van een hybride aandrijflijn blijft open. Als Lancia en Stellantis het aandurven om de 2,0-liter GME PHEV te gebruiken, die al wordt gebruikt door Jeep en binnenkort wordt verwacht door Alfa Romeo, zou de Delta HF Integrale kunnen worden gebaseerd op het STLA Large-platform, het enige platform dat een dergelijke motor in vierwielaandrijving kan herbergen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terwijl we wachten op de onthulling van deze Delta HF Integrale, gaat de aandacht eerst uit naar de Gamma, die voor volgend jaar is beloofd.
