Sinds de komst van modellen als de SF90 Stradale, de 296 GTB en de 12Cilindri vertrouwde Ferrari op een ultramoderne interface: haptische bedieningselementen op het stuurwiel, die verondersteld werden de ergonomie en de snelheid van uitvoering te verbeteren. Maar in werkelijkheid klaagden veel bestuurders over een frustrerende ervaring, waarbij een simpele aanraking ongewenste functies activeerde, zoals cruisecontrol of menunavigatie. Maar het goede nieuws is dat deze verbetering niet alleen geldt voor nieuwe kopers. Gianmaria Fulgenzi, hoofd productontwikkeling, heeft bevestigd dat eigenaars van verschillende recente modellen (296 GTB, Purosangue, SF90, 12Cilindri) dit nieuwe 'old school' stuurwiel op hun auto kunnen laten monteren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Ja, je kunt het hebben,\" vertelde hij TopGear. Sterker nog: je hoeft niet het hele stuur te vervangen, alleen de centrale naaf. De operatie kan bij elke Ferrari-dealer worden uitgevoerd, zonder dat de auto naar Maranello hoeft te worden teruggebracht. Een eenvoudige testrit is alles wat nodig is om de upgrade te valideren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een rendement gedicteerd door klanten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Enrico Galliera, marketingdirecteur van Ferrari, gaf toe dat het merk te ambitieus was geweest met de touch-interface. Het oorspronkelijke doel, vooral voor de SF90, was om een rijervaring te cre\u00ebren die net zo krachtig was als de elektronica aan boord. Maar in haar streven om alles te optimaliseren, heeft Ferrari een fundamenteel element verwaarloosd: intu\u00eftie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Onze filosofie is: handen aan het stuur, ogen op de weg. Maar we merkten dat de ogen te lang op het stuur bleven\", gaf hij toe. Ferrari heeft daarom naar zijn klanten geluisterd en besloten om terug te gaan naar de basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het hoofd design, Flavio Manzoni, steunde deze ontwikkeling. Als groot voorstander van minimalisme herinnerde hij ons eraan dat schoonheid schuilt in eenvoud.
