In een kort bericht dat gisteravond op LinkedIn is gepubliceerd, heeft de toekomstige baas van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/stellantis\/\">Stellantis<\/a> bedankte voorzitter John Elkann, de Raad van Bestuur, de 272.000 werknemers van de Groep... en bovenal de nagedachtenis van Sergio Marchionne:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" focusable=\"false\" class=\"icon icon-quote\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\"><use xlink:href=\"#icon-quote\"><\/use><\/svg>\n<p>Zoals Sergio Marchionne zou zeggen: \"Middelmatigheid is de reis niet waard. Laten we deze overwinning samen mee naar huis nemen!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In slechts twee zinnen herinnerde Filosa ons eraan waar hij vandaan kwam,<\/strong> aan wie hij veel van zijn opkomst te danken heeft en welke cultuur van uitmuntendheid hij opnieuw wil installeren in het hart van 's werelds op drie na grootste autofabrikant. Nog verrassender: geen woord voor zijn voorganger, Carlos Tavares, die op 1\u1d49\u02b3 december 2024 ontslag nam. Een stilte die boekdelen spreekt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De terugkeer van een van Marchionne's zonen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Antonio Filosa, geboren in Napels en afgestudeerd in werktuigbouwkunde, groeide op in de schaduw van de 'Maestro'. In 2004 had Marchionne net het roer overgenomen bij Fiat, terwijl Filosa, toen een dertiger, al de leiding had over de Betim-fabriek in Brazili\u00eb. De twee mannen ontmoetten elkaar opnieuw in 2014 voor de inhuldiging van het Jeep-complex in Pernambuco, een van de vlaggenschipprojecten van het \"Jeep Global\"-programma dat de winst van FCA in Latijns-Amerika zou opstuwen. In maart 2018 benoemde de baas zijn proteg\u00e9 in de Group Executive Council, het hoogste besluitvormingsorgaan van de groep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toen Marchionne op 25 juli 2018 plotseling overleed, verloor Filosa zijn mentor maar hield hij het motto gegraveerd: \"Middelmatigheid is de reis niet waard.\" Zeven jaar later haalt hij het publiekelijk aan als standaard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Op 28 mei maakte Stellantis een publiek geheim officieel: na vijfentwintig jaar bij het bedrijf te hebben gewerkt, zou Antonio Filosa op 23 juni CEO worden. <\/strong>In de tussentijd zal de Napolitaan fabrieken en dealers over de hele wereld bezoeken om te \"luisteren\" en de hartslag van een geschudde groep te voelen: een bedrijfswinst die in 2024 bijna drie keer zo groot is, recordvoorraden in de Verenigde Staten, Chinese concurrentie op het gebied van elektrische stadsauto's heviger dan ooit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als John Elkann \"sterk en effectief leiderschap\" prijst, is dat ook omdat Filosa een bewezen staat van dienst heeft: als nummer 1 in de Zuid-Amerikaanse regio bracht hij Fiat terug aan de top van de Braziliaanse markt terwijl hij de verkoop van Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Ram en Jeep stimuleerde. Later werd hij benoemd tot COO van Noord- en Zuid-Amerika, verkleinde hij de voorraden in de VS in zes maanden en bereidde hij een nieuwe golf hybride en elektrische modellen voor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tavares vergeten?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Het ontbreken van een verwijzing naar Carlos Tavares is ongetwijfeld niet toevallig.<\/strong> Ten eerste omdat de Portugees-Fransman een ijzeren begrotingsdiscipline belichaamde, die soms bekritiseerd werd omdat hij de duimschroeven zo aanhaalde dat het distributienetwerk verstikt werd.
