Gewoon loze praatjes? De abrupte overstap naar volledig elektrische aandrijving, die niet goed is gevallen bij een groot deel van de Abarth-gemeenschap, zou kunnen worden herzien, althans gedeeltelijk. \"Evaluaties zijn aan de gang\", zei Olivier Fran\u00e7ois, verwijzend naar een proces dat zich nog in de beginfase bevindt maar zeer re\u00ebel is. Meer was er niet nodig om hoop te geven aan diegenen die ervan dromen om weer een benzinemotor te horen brullen onder de motorkap van een Italiaanse bombshell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een rallymotor?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Het meest geloofwaardige gerucht wijst op de komst van de 1.2L turbobenzine van de Stellantis-groep, <\/strong>al gebruikt in de competitie, in het bijzonder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/lancia\/lancia-laat-coureurs-weten-dat-het-merk-de-rallye4-trofee-lanceert-met-160-000-e-voor-het-grijpen\/\">in de Lancia Ypsilon HF die meedeed aan Rally4<\/a>. Deze motor ontwikkelt 212 pk in zijn raceversie, zonder hybridisatie. Op papier zou hij kunnen worden ge\u00efntegreerd in een van de huidige platforms (500e of 600e), hoewel een terugkeer naar interne verbranding een aanpassing aan de huidige normen voor CO2-uitstoot en geluid zou vereisen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Lancia Ypsilon HF Rallye 4\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/r8AjE_1A1wM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In een wegversie is deze 1.2L turbomotor al bekend in een hybride versie met maximaal 145 pk. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/alfa-romeo\/alfa-romeo-junior-q4-test-efficient-maar\/\">getest op de Alfa Romeo Junior Q4<\/a>Voor Abarth kan een evolutie van deze basis worden overwogen, met een naar boven bijgesteld vermogen... en misschien een lichte of oplaadbare hybridisatie (PHEV), de enige haalbare oplossing om aan de Europese CO\u2082-vereisten te voldoen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een antwoord op de frustratie van enthousiastelingen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De Abarth 500e en de gloednieuwe 600e hebben ondanks hun respectabele prestaties (155 tot 280 pk) moeite om liefhebbers van mechanische sensatie voor zich te winnen.
