Tegelijkertijd vordert de elektrificatiestrategie van de Groep met verschillende snelheden in verschillende markten, Stellantis<\/a> bereidt nieuwe aandrijflijnen voor voor zijn topmodellen. Volgens onze informatie bereidt de Groep nu de lancering voor van hybride versies van zijn GME 2.0L en 3.0L verbrandingsmotoren, vooral op modellen die gebaseerd zijn op het STLA Large platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hybride verbrandingsmotoren voor Dodge, Jeep, Alfa Romeo en Chrysler?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Volgens onze informatie werkt Stellantis actief samen met ZF Group, de Duitse transmissiereus, om een hybride automatische versnellingsbak met 8 versnellingen te gebruiken voor het STLA Large-platform, waarmee de topmodellen van de groep zullen worden uitgerust. Hoewel er nog geen offici\u00eble bevestiging is gegeven van de betreffende modellen, zijn de merken Dodge, Jeep, Alfa Romeo en Chrysler de directe doelgroep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens onze informatie is deze toekomstige transmissie, die ZF 8P4G zou kunnen zijn,<\/strong> in staat zou zijn om de hybridisatie van bestaande verbrandingsmotoren te beheren, in het bijzonder de 2.0L GME en 3.0L GME. Deze technologiekeuze komt niet als een verrassing: Stellantis werkt al jaren samen met ZF voor zijn topmodellen. De 2.0L GME benzineversies van de Alfa Romeo Giulia en Stelvio maken bijvoorbeeld al gebruik van de ZF 8HP automatische versnellingsbak. Dit is ook het geval voor de Jeep Wrangler PHEV, uitgerust met een hybride versie van de ZF 8-versnellingsbak, of de Jeep Grand Wagoneer, uitgerust met een 3.0L GME gekoppeld aan de ZF 8HP75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een antwoord op de vertraging in de verkoop van elektrische auto's<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Deze beslissing om het aanbod van hybride verbrandingsmotoren uit te breiden wordt ook verklaard door de commerci\u00eble realiteit: in 2024 daalde de verkoop van Stellantis met 7 % in de Verenigde Staten, zijn grootste markt in termen van omzet. De dynamiek van elektrische voertuigen is trager dan verwacht en klanten zijn nog steeds erg gehecht aan krachtige verbrandingsmotoren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In deze context leerden we dat Stellantis onderzocht de mogelijkheid om de productie van de Hurricane-motor te verdubbelen.<\/a>geproduceerd in Saltillo, Mexico, van 250.000 naar 500.000 eenheden per jaar. Dit is een belangrijke strategische beslissing, die nog wordt versterkt door de geplande herlancering van de HEMI V8-motoren, die vanaf het derde kwartaal van 2025 in Michigan zullen worden geproduceerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het valt nog te bezien welke modellen zullen worden be\u00efnvloed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De combinatie van GME-blokken en de nieuwe hybride automatische versnellingsbak van ZF betekent dat de topmodellen krachtig, maar minder vervuilend zullen zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deze keuze kan de Dodge Charger\/Challenger, Jeep Grand Cherokee\/Wagoneer, Alfa Romeo Stelvio en toekomstige Giulia-reeksen nieuw leven inblazen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voorlopig is nog niet officieel bekendgemaakt welke modellen van deze hybride aandrijflijn zullen profiteren.
