De SUV lijkt nu langer en lager en heeft een fastback-silhouet dat meer doet denken aan een sedan dan aan een traditionele SUV. Strenge praktijktests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De ontwikkelingstests van de nieuwe Stelvio gaan door in het Stellantis testcentrum in Arjeplog, Zweden. <\/strong>Deze tests worden uitgevoerd op prototypes die worden geassembleerd in de Mirafiori-fabriek in Turijn, in de afdeling die zich bezighoudt met de productie van prototypes. Deze eerste reeks voertuigen wordt onderworpen aan extreem strenge tests in extreme klimatologische omstandigheden, met temperaturen die soms de -30\u00b0C bereiken. Deze tests zijn bedoeld om de simulaties in virtual reality en op rijsimulatoren te valideren en te garanderen dat de auto voldoet aan de kwaliteits-, betrouwbaarheids- en prestatienormen van Alfa Romeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prototypes werden meer dan 1000 uur getest op oppervlakken met weinig grip, <\/strong>waardoor ingenieurs de zijdelingse en longitudinale dynamiek van de auto nauwkeurig kunnen afstellen. Maar dat is nog niet alles. Naast deze tests in ijzige omstandigheden ondergaat de toekomstige Stelvio een uitgebreider testprogramma in gematigde klimaten, met meer dan 1.500 uur circuittests, onder andere in het Balocco-testcentrum in Itali\u00eb. Deze fases zijn essentieel om ervoor te zorgen dat de SUV onder alle rijomstandigheden de verwachte prestaties kan leveren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uitgebreid technisch testen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Technische tests beperken zich niet tot rijden op de weg of op het circuit. <\/strong>De Stelvio ondergaat ook zeer specifieke tests op simulatiebanken om de betrouwbaarheid en effici\u00ebntie van de aandrijf- en batterijsystemen te controleren. Deze tests vertegenwoordigen niet minder dan 4.000 uur aan simulaties, met als doel de geavanceerde technologie\u00ebn van het voertuig te valideren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daarnaast worden 3000 uren instrumentele gegevens verzameld onder echte wegomstandigheden, <\/strong>om elk aspect van het gedrag van de SUV nauwkeurig te analyseren. Om ervoor te zorgen dat de Stelvio op het gebied van veiligheid en bestuurdersassistentie aan de top van de technologie staat, zijn er tot slot meer dan 1.000 uren besteed aan het kalibreren van de Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
