Ter herinnering, we zijn in mei 2024 als Carlos Tavares, ex-CEO van Stellantis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/fiat\/carlos-tavares-bevestigt-dat-fiat-500-hybride-in-italie-wordt-gemaakt-maar-met-lange-levertijd\/\">kondigde de ontwikkeling van deze nieuwe hybride versie aan<\/a>als reactie op de tegenvallende verkoop van de elektrische Fiat 500. Volgens de Italiaanse media <em>Torino Cronaca<\/em>achter deze overgang, <strong>verbergt een gewichtsprobleem<\/strong> wat ten koste zou kunnen gaan van de prestaties en CO2-uitstoot van de toekomstige kleine stadsauto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een grote uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De elektrische Fiat 500 weegt ongeveer 1.350 kg, waarvan bijna 300 kg voor de batterij.<\/strong>Hij heeft een aantal interessante kenmerken voor een elektrische stadsauto. De minst krachtige versie, met 95 pk en 220 Nm koppel, accelereert van 0 naar 100 km\/u in 9,5 seconden en biedt dynamisch stadsverkeer. Het antwoord ligt in de toevoeging van de verbrandingsmotor (93 kg), de brandstoftank, het uitlaatsysteem en alle onderdelen die nodig zijn voor deze nieuwe hybride aandrijflijn. Door de batterij (300 kg) en de elektromotor (gewicht onbekend) te verwijderen en de verbrandingsmotor toe te voegen, en door de aandrijflijn toe te voegen die al in een vorige versie van de Fiat 500 hybride in 2020 was ingebouwd (met een gewicht van 980 kg), zou dit alles kunnen <strong>toevoegen aan het gewicht van de laatste<\/strong>. De vorige versie, met een gewicht van 980 kg en een vermogen van 70 pk en een koppel van 92 Nm, had 13,8 seconden nodig om van 0 naar 100 km\/u te gaan. De oude 500 hybride, met een uitstoot van 108g CO2\/km, dreigt qua CO2-uitstoot voorbijgestreefd te worden door de nieuwe hybride versie, vooral als het gewicht van de auto toeneemt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Een oplossing: de 1.5L 130 pk motor?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Een oplossing voor dit dilemma zou kunnen liggen in het gebruik van de 130pk sterke 1.5L motor, die al te vinden is in andere Fiat-modellen zoals de Tipo en 500X. Deze motor, die krachtiger is en geschikt voor grotere voertuigen, zou kunnen helpen om de gewichtstoename te compenseren met behoud van goede prestaties. De introductie van deze motor zou echter niet zonder technische complicaties zijn. Olivier Fran\u00e7ois, CEO van Fiat,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/fiat\/nieuwe-fiat-500-hybride-motor-platform-prijs-datum-allemaal-onthuld\/\"> heeft de motor voor de Fiat Panda aangekondigd<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De ingenieurs van Fiat lijken vast te zitten in een echt dilemma. Als het toevoegen van een hybride verbrandingsmotor aan een elektrische auto <strong>zwaarder dan de vorige hybride versie<\/strong> problemen oplevert op het gebied van prestaties en CO2-uitstoot, lijkt het onwaarschijnlijk dat er een eenvoudige oplossing bestaat.
