De Maserati MC20 doet zijn intrede in de GT2. Na verschillende overwinningen<\/a>de laatste triomf op de het legendarische circuit van Monza<\/strong> verbetert de reputatie van de MC20 nog verder en biedt een Prachtige advertentie voor de gloednieuwe Maserati GT2 Stradale<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een winnend weekend op Monza<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Het onlangs gerenoveerde circuit van Monza heeft Maserati pakt de topposities<\/strong> in de 5e ronde van de Fanatec GT2 European Series. In de eerste race monopoliseerden de Maserati's het podium, met de N\u00b01 van Leonardo Gorini en Carlo Tamburini (LP Racing) als winnaar. Alexandre Leroy (TFT Racing) pakte niet alleen de tweede plaats, maar won ook de AM-categorie, terwijl Philippe Prette (LP Racing) het podium completeerde op de derde plaats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De tweede race kende veel drama. Gorini en Tamburini, die achteraan startten vanwege een probleem in de kwalificatie, maakten een spectaculaire comeback en pakten de tweede plaats. Helaas kreeg Prette, leider in de AM-categorie, in de laatste ronde een lekke band, waardoor hij terugviel naar de negende plaats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Maserati GT2 Stradale: een grote publiciteitscoup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Verder dan prestaties op het spoor, Maserati maakte van het evenement gebruik om een model te presenteren dat een lustobject zou kunnen worden voor gentlemen drivers: de Maserati GT2 Stradale. <\/strong>Deze supercar, die voor het eerst aan het publiek werd voorgesteld tijdens de Monterey Car Week in Californi\u00eb, combineert de extreme prestaties van de GT2 met de elegantie van de MC20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Met een topsnelheid van 324 km\/u en 640 pk belooft de GT2 Stradale een opwindende ervaring, vooral op het circuit. Met een tijd van 0 tot 100 km\/u van 2,8 seconden is dit model een perfect voorbeeld van het DNA van Maserati voor wie dagelijks in een sportieve auto wil rijden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een veelbelovend eerste seizoen voor Maserati in GT2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Deze laatste GT2-overwinning komt niet als een verrassing voor degenen die het seizoen op de voet hebben gevolgd. Sinds zijn debuut in de Fanatec GT2 European Series heeft dee Maserati MC20 heeft zichzelf bewezen als een van de best presterende auto's in het kampioenschap.<\/strong>. Met teams als LP Racing en TFT Racing schitterde de MC20 en behaalde tal van podiumplaatsen in zowel de Pro-Am als de AM-categorie\u00ebn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het LP Racing-team staat momenteel tweede in de Pro-Am-stand, terwijl TFT Racing derde staat in de AM, vlak achter het Akkodis-team met hun Mercedes AMG GT2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voor Maserati belichamen deze racesuccessen de heropleving van het merk en zijn vermogen om sportwagens te produceren die met de besten kunnen wedijveren. En wat is een betere manier om de link te leggen tussen de prestaties van de MC20 op het circuit en zijn legale tegenhanger op de weg, de GT2 Stradale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ter afsluiting van het seizoen staat de laatste ronde van de Fanatec GT2 European Series gepland voor 11-13 oktober in Barcelona, Spanje.
