De Groep Stellantis<\/a> onlangs een ontmoeting gehad met vakbonden en de Italiaanse regering om de toekomst van de autoproductie in Itali\u00eb te bespreken. Terwijl de groep nieuwe modellen heeft aangekondigd voor de fabrieken in Cassino, Mirafiori en Melfi, lijkt de fabriek in Pomigliano niet te profiteren van hetzelfde momentum. De vakbonden FIM CISL en FIOM CGIL hebben hun meningen en zorgen over dit onderwerp geuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tijdens de bijeenkomst op het ministerie van Handel en Made in Italy (MIMIT) bevestigde Stellantis het belang van de Cassino<\/strong>. Het platform STLA Large zal eraan worden toegewezen, waardoor drie nieuwe modellen kunnen worden geproduceerd: de nieuwe Stelvio, de nieuwe Giulia en een nog niet gedefinieerd model. <\/strong>Dit nieuwe platform zal zorgen voor een grotere productieflexibiliteit en lagere kosten, zoals Davide Mele, een vertegenwoordiger van Stellantis, aangaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIM CISL General Secretary Ferdinando Uliano zei dat dit initiatief cruciaal was voor de heropleving van de fabriek in Cassino. In 2017 produceerde de fabriek met de modellen Giulia en Giulietta 135.000 eenheden, tegenover slechts 50.000 in 2023. De toevoeging van nieuwe modellen belooft dus een aanzienlijke toename van de productievolumes en hopelijk ook van de werkgelegenheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Melfi <\/strong>zal produceren vijf nieuwe voertuigen <\/strong>van verschillende Stellantis-merken op het STLA Medium-platform. De Mirafiori <\/strong>produceert de elektrische 500, de toekomstige 500 hybride en versnellingsbakken met dubbele koppeling voor verschillende modellen van de Groep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Pomigliano <\/strong>bevindt zich in een meer delicate situatie. Momenteel produceert de fabriek de Alfa Romeo Tonale en de Fiat Panda hybride, waarvan de laatste gepland staat voor 2029. Maar met de toekomstige elektrische Panda die in Servi\u00eb wordt geproduceerd, wordt het concurrentievermogen van de fabriek in Pomigliano bedreigd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De FIOM CGIL heeft haar bezorgdheid geuit over het gebrek aan nieuwe elektrische modellen voor deze fabriek.<\/strong> Volgens Samuele Lodi, nationaal secretaris van FIOM-CGIL, zal de uitbreiding van de productie van de Pandina niet volstaan om de volumedaling van de huidige modellen te compenseren.
