De Groep Stellantis<\/a> gebruikt vier nieuwe platforms voor zijn 14 merken: STLA Small, STLA Medium, STLA Large en STLA Frame. Van deze platforms is de STLA Small, gericht op compacte stadsauto's, het minst gedocumenteerd wat betreft technische details en assemblagelocaties. Nieuwe informatie onthuld door de Spaanse krant La Tribuna de Automoci\u00f3n<\/em> suggereert dat de fabriek in Vigo (Spanje) een belangrijke rol zou kunnen spelen in de productie ervan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belangrijkste financiering voor Vigo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De Spaanse overheid heeft onlangs een investering van \u20ac29 miljoen aangekondigd in de fabriek in Vigo, als onderdeel van het \"Plan voor transformatie en veerkracht\" voor de auto-industrie. Deze financiering maakt deel uit van Lijn B van Perte VEC II, een initiatief ter ondersteuning van de elektrische en aangesloten industrie. De minister van Industrie, Jordi Hereu, benadrukte dat deze steun een \"belangrijke stap\" was op weg naar de offici\u00eble bevestiging van de productie van het STLA Small elektrische platform in het Galicische centrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stellantis verwelkomde de investering als \"een belangrijke stap voorwaarts en een teken van vertrouwen en steun van de Spaanse overheid\". De groep onder leiding van Carlos Tavares ziet deze financiering als een essenti\u00eble hefboom voor de definitieve toekenning van het STLA Small-platform aan Vigo, maar benadrukt dat het uiteindelijke bedrag kan stijgen wanneer het project definitief wordt onderzocht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een nieuw STLA Klein voor 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hoewel Stellantis de toewijzing van het STLA Small-platform aan Vigo niet officieel heeft bevestigd, wijst intern werk erop dat de Galicische fabriek goed op weg is om het platform te ontvangen. Volgens La Tribuna de Automoci\u00f3n<\/em>Het STLA Small-platform zal worden ge\u00efnstalleerd op 'Systeem 1' van de fabriek, waar momenteel de Peugeot 2008 wordt geassembleerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De productie zal starten in september 2027, met een nieuwe generatie van de elektrische Peugeot 2008 100 %. Deze overgang naar elektrisch betekent echter niet het onmiddellijke einde van verbrandingsmotoren voor de SUV, want Stellantis is van plan om de verbrandingsmotor van de Peugeot 2008 te verlengen tot ten minste 2029.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andere modellen verwacht<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De fabriek in Vigo zal niet alleen de Peugeot 2008 produceren. Het Stellantis productplan<\/a> onthult dat het STLA Small-platform als basis zal dienen voor de toekomstige Peugeot 208, 2008, Opel Corsa, Fiat 500, DS 3 Crossback en Opel Mokka. Het is daarom waarschijnlijk dat sommige van deze modellen naast de Peugeot 2008 ook in Vigo zullen worden geproduceerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ter herinnering: het STLA Small-platform, dat compatibel is met meerdere energiebronnen, moet het mogelijk maken om elektrische auto's aan te bieden met een actieradius van 500 km. Er is niet veel bekend over dit platform. Is het echt nieuw, of is het een evolutie van het Smart-platform dat wordt gebruikt in de Citro\u00ebn \u00eb-C3 of de toekomstige Fiat Panda, zelf afgeleid van PSA's CMP-platform? Het is nog moeilijk te zeggen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
