In eerste instantie gepland voor volgend jaar, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/nl\/maserati\/maserati-reageert-en-onthult-zijn-nieuwe-officiele-2028-productplan\/\">de release van dit model is uitgesteld tot 2028<\/a>Deze beslissing werd ingegeven door de noodzaak om \"geen prestatierisico's\" te nemen. <strong>Dit uitstel lijkt meer te zijn ingegeven door een verandering van platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Davide Danesin, de hoofdingenieur van de Quattroporte en Granturismo (die een lange en succesvolle carri\u00e8re had bij Fiat, FCA en daarna Stellantis), vertelde Autocar dat de ontwikkeling halverwege was voordat het project werd vertraagd. <strong>De Quattroporte, die oorspronkelijk zou worden gebaseerd op het STLA Large-platform, zou nu van koers kunnen veranderen.<\/strong> De STLA Large is een platform waarop Stellantis zijn kunnen verkoopt: hij mikt op een bereik van 800 km en zal in ongeveer 2 seconden van 0 naar 100 kunnen accelereren.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gevraagd naar het verdere gebruik van dit platform, zei Danesin dat er nog niets was besloten en voegde eraan toe dat het mogelijk was om bestaande bases te optimaliseren in plaats van te kiezen voor iets nieuws. \"Ik zeg niet dat het geen STLA Large wordt,\" voegde hij eraan toe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In dit opzicht,<strong> Maserati is ook van plan om het specifieke platform van de Granturismo Folgore aan te passen voor de Quattroporte.<\/strong>. Dit platform, dat geprezen wordt om zijn wendbaarheid en rijpositie die dicht aanleunt bij die van sportwagens met verbrandingsmotor, maakt gebruik van een T-vormige opstelling van batterijen langs de autokolom, waardoor de positie van de voorzetels lager wordt en de carrosserierol en helling worden verminderd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De definitieve keuze voor een platform is nog niet gemaakt.<\/strong>Danesin benadrukt dat elke optie belangrijke voordelen biedt voor de toekomst van de Quattroporte, die vanuit elk oogpunt opmerkelijk moet zijn: stijl, architectuur en prestaties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Het uitstel van de Quattroporte is voornamelijk te wijten aan een gewichtsprobleem<\/strong>Omdat moderne elektrische voertuigen steeds zwaarder worden, is dit een probleem dat Maserati onder controle wil krijgen. \"Door al deze elementen samen te voegen, besloten we dat we meer tijd nodig hadden om het pakket te optimaliseren,\" legt Danesin uit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze beslissing illustreert dat <strong>Maserati is er niet helemaal zeker van dat de STLA Large de verwachte sportieve prestaties zal leveren,<\/strong> en dat het Giorgio 1.5 platform, ook wel Giorgio Sport genoemd, dat al wordt gebruikt in de nieuwe Granturismo en de Grecale, een evolutie van het platform dat werd ge\u00efntroduceerd door de Alfa Romeo Giulia en Stelvio, wel eens een langere carri\u00e8re zou kunnen hebben dan verwacht. \"Het is ge\u00efnspireerd op Giorgio.
