Goed nieuws voor de autosport. Na Ferrari, dat in 2023 met een model komt dat in juni van dit jaar is onthuld, is het Lamborghini<\/a> die heeft aangekondigd zich aan te sluiten bij de hypercar-categorie, met een deelname aan het WEC World Endurance Championship in 2024, inclusief de 24 uur van Le Mans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lamborghini staat naast Acura, Cadillac, BMW, Porsche en Alpine in LMDh, en Peugeot, Ferrari, Toyota, Glickenhaus en Vanwall in Hypercar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"We wilden graag meedoen aan een wereldkampioenschap met deelnemers van topniveau, en dat zijn er veel. Het belangrijkste is dat er deelnemers van topniveau zijn, niet alleen namen. Toen Ferruccio Lamborghini zijn bedrijf oprichtte, had hij een droom om sportauto's te maken buiten de racerij om. We willen graag meedoen aan een kampioenschap met een solide basis, we houden er niet van om een jaar te racen en dan afscheid te nemen.\"<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\"We zijn vereerd dat Lamborghini vanaf 2024 deelneemt aan de FIA WEC Hypercar-klasse. Lamborghini is een iconisch merk, maar het heeft nog nooit meegedaan in de topklasse van de enduranceracerij. Lamborghini treedt toe tot het FIA WEC op een spannend moment in zijn geschiedenis. Voor het seizoen 2024 hebben we een uitzonderlijke line-up van merken die deelnemen aan onze hoofdklasse. De concurrentie zal hevig zijn, maar we twijfelen er niet aan dat Lamborghini in het hart van de strijd zal staan. Lamborghini heeft veel succes geboekt in andere enduranceracecategorie\u00ebn, dus we kijken ernaar uit om ze te zien strijden om de overwinningen tijdens onze evenementen.\"<\/p>
