Hij vertelde Britse journalisten van<em>Autoexpress<\/em> dat<strong> het nieuwe Panda-assortiment wordt gebaseerd op de geest van het assortiment uit de jaren 80<\/strong>de veelgeprezen en zeer succesvolle trukendoos. Fiat bestaat niet zonder de Panda of de 500.<\/em><\/strong>eraan toevoegend dat&nbsp;<em><strong>\"De nieuwste 500 is het neusje van de zalm, vol opties en geprijsd voor 30.000 euro, maar op de dag dat ik de toekomstige Panda presenteer, doe ik waarschijnlijk het tegenovergestelde, met een instapmodel voor een ongelofelijke prijs.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De toekomstige Panda IV zou daarom verkrijgbaar kunnen zijn als gewone stadsauto, maar ook als SUV-versie, net als de huidige CityCross. De <strong>platform<\/strong> zou logischerwijs de <strong>CMP van de voormalige PSA-groep<\/strong>De 208 en 2008 zijn al gebaseerd op dit model. Er is dus genoeg ruimte voor een elektrische versie. Komt er een verbrandingsversie? Nog niet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om de nieuwe Panda betaalbaar te maken, zet Fiat in op <strong>minimaal ontwerp en eenvoudige aanpassing<\/strong>. Het '4U'-programma, dat werd onthuld met het Centoventi concept, zal ook worden opgenomen.
