L'ex CEO di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/it\/stellante\/\">Stellantis<\/a>, ormai lontano dal trambusto delle sale riunioni e delle conferenze strategiche, ora conduce una vita molto diversa nel suo paese natale, il Portogallo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tra il restauro di auto d'epoca, la gestione di alberghi e la sua passione per gli sport motoristici, Carlos Tavares continua a fare ci\u00f2 che ha sempre amato: guidare. E nel fine settimana del 16 e 17 maggio non era al volante di un'auto elettrica o di un prototipo futuristico. No, l'ex boss di Stellantis ha partecipato al campionato portoghese di monoposto a Portim\u00e3o... con un'Alfa Romeo Formula 3 del 1983.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un'auto da corsa Alfa Romeo degli anni '80<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La vettura iscritta da Carlos Tavares non \u00e8 una monoposto qualsiasi. Questa monoposto sfruttava appieno i principi dell'effetto suolo che dominavano gli sport motoristici dell'epoca. Preparato per le corse, questo motore erogava una potenza compresa tra 165 e 190 CV, a seconda della configurazione. Cifre modeste al giorno d'oggi, ma che, unite a un peso di circa 455 kg, consentivano a questa F3 di raggiungere tra i 240 e i 250 km\/h con un sound tipicamente Alfa Romeo, grintoso e meccanico. La Ralt RT3 \u00e8 spesso considerata una delle migliori vetture di Formula 3 dei primi anni Ottanta, tanto da fungere da trampolino di lancio per diversi futuri piloti di F1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un fine settimana ricco di eventi a Portim\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carlos Tavares ha condiviso alcuni momenti del suo weekend di gara sul leggendario circuito di Portim\u00e3o, in Algarve. Durante le prove libere, la Ralt RT3 Alfa Romeo \u00e8 stata coinvolta in un contatto con un altro concorrente, ma le qualifiche sono andate meglio, con un tempo di 1\u201959 che ha permesso a Tavares di conquistare il sesto posto assoluto e il primo posto tra le \u201cNon FR2000\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La domenica \u00e8 stata molto pi\u00f9 intensa. Nella prima gara, un problema alla frizione lo ha costretto a partire... con lo starter. Come se non bastasse, una ruota posteriore allentata a tre giri dal traguardo ha complicato ulteriormente la situazione. Risultato: nono posto assoluto e terzo di classe. Nella seconda manche, la frizione ha ceduto di nuovo dopo soli due giri. Nonostante ci\u00f2, Carlos Tavares ha continuato la gara senza la frizione, migliorando addirittura il suo miglior tempo di 1\u201958.604. Alla fine, si \u00e8 classificato sesto assoluto e terzo di classe.
