Ma questa volta non \u00e8 per una nuova polemica, bens\u00ec per una soluzione alternativa che potrebbe interessare molti proprietari: un kit che permette di sostituire la famosa cinghia di distribuzione \u00aba bagno d'olio\u00bb con una catena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una debolezza ben nota delle prime generazioni<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le prime generazioni del motore PureTech, prodotte in particolare tra il 2014 e il 2017, sono state oggetto di numerose critiche. Si trattava di una cinghia di distribuzione immersa nell'olio motore, che avrebbe dovuto ridurre l'attrito e migliorare l'efficienza. Sulla carta, l'idea era attraente. In realt\u00e0, ha spesso provocato danni prematuri. La cinghia pu\u00f2 incrinarsi, disintegrarsi o gonfiarsi, lasciando residui nel circuito dell'olio. Il risultato \u00e8 un filtro intasato, una scarsa lubrificazione e, nei casi pi\u00f9 gravi, un guasto al motore. In pratica, si tratta di un kit completo che sostituisce la cinghia con una catena di distribuzione, ritenuta pi\u00f9 robusta e durevole. Il kit comprende tutti i componenti necessari: catena, pignoni, guide, tenditore e persino un'adeguata linea di alimentazione dell'olio. L'intero pacchetto \u00e8 stato progettato come una soluzione \u00abplug and play\u00bb, cio\u00e8 senza modifiche sostanziali al motore. L'azienda offre due versioni del suo kit: una per i motori ad aspirazione naturale e una per i motori turbocompressi. Questa distinzione \u00e8 essenziale perch\u00e9 le versioni turbocompresse presentano differenze meccaniche significative. Il kit \u00e8 destinato esclusivamente ai professionisti dell'auto. In concreto, sono le officine e i meccanici che devono ordinarlo e poi offrire la conversione ai loro clienti. Un altro fattore da tenere presente \u00e8 che il kit \u00e8 attualmente in pre-ordine, con le prime consegne previste nella seconda met\u00e0 del 2026. Se si tiene conto dell'installazione, il conto supera facilmente i 1.000 euro. Un costo che pu\u00f2 sembrare elevato, ma che va messo in prospettiva. Una normale sostituzione della cinghia costa gi\u00e0 circa 500 euro, senza contare eventuali problemi accessori. Con il tempo, e con diversi interventi, la conversione alla catena pu\u00f2 ripagarsi da sola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oltre all'aspetto finanziario, questa conversione potrebbe anche rassicurare i futuri acquirenti in caso di rivendita. Un motore PureTech convertito in catena potrebbe ispirare pi\u00f9 fiducia di un motore ancora dotato di cinghia originale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con il motore PureTech di terza generazione, Stellantis sembra aver corretto molti dei problemi.
