Al recente Motor Passion di Avignone, in Francia, \u00e8 stato esposto un gommone da corsa motorizzato Alfa Romeo, costruito dal costruttore Lucini &amp; Frigerio. Questo modello del 1972 era di una classe a s\u00e9 stante, alimentato da un motore bialbero 1300 a 4 cilindri. Ci ha ricordato la mostra \u00abCavalli Marini\u00bb che si era tenuta qualche anno prima al Museo Storico d'Arese. Foto Nicolas Anderbegani per Italpassion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quando l'Alfa Romeo era un gruppo multiprodotto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il marchio milanese aveva una filiale Alfa Romeo Industrie che era presente nel settore aeronautico con l'Alfa Romeo Avio e nel settore del trasporto commerciale con l'Alfa Romeo Veicoli Industriali. Autobus, filobus, camion e motori aeronautici facevano parte della produzione del Biscione, che contribu\u00ec allo sforzo bellico italiano durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. L'Alfa Industriale motorizzava imbarcazioni da diporto, vaporetti di Venezia (persino pescherecci!) e anche i famosi \u00abbattelli esplosivi\u00bb MTS (Motoscafo Turismo Silurante), utilizzati dalla Regia Marina durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale per cercare di affondare le navi alleate, imbarcazioni veloci che utilizzavano il motore 6C 2500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dagli anni Trenta agli anni Ottanta, l'Alfa Romeo \u00e8 stata protagonista delle competizioni e dei record di motonautica, collezionando titoli in Italia, in Europa e nel mondo. L'Italia, potenza marittima e meta di vacanze, \u00e8 sempre stata una delle culle della motonautica. Anche Maserati e Ferrari si sono cimentate in questo campo, motorizzando negli anni Cinquanta derive da competizione, tra cui l'idroplano Timossi Ferrari Arno XI del 1953, alimentato dal V12 della 375 F1 della Scuderia Ferrari. A partire dagli anni '80 e '90, \u00e8 stata la Lamborghini a entrare nel mondo delle corse in mare, con motori potenti, tra cui i V12 che equipaggiano gli F1 Inshore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Motori di F1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nel campo della motonautica, i motori adatti all'uso marino venivano forniti esclusivamente per uso temporaneo e gestiti direttamente dal reparto corse dell'Alfa Romeo. Il famoso motore della 158, progettato nel 1938 da Gioacchino Colombo, era un 8 cilindri in linea da 1,5 litri alimentato da un compressore Roots. Nella sua ultima incarnazione, con un compressore a due stadi, produceva 450 CV!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebbene questo motore sia maggiormente associato alle monoposto che hanno dominato i Gran Premi tra il 1946 e il 1951, con Giuseppe Farina e Juan-Manuel Fangio che hanno vinto due titoli mondiali di F1, \u00e8 stato utilizzato nelle imbarcazioni a motore a partire dalla fine degli anni Trenta e ha equipaggiato l'imbarcazione da corsa Arno II, un monoscafo leggero costruito dai cantieri Picchiotti di Viareggio nel 1946.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"756\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/moteur-alfa-romeo-bateau.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48050\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/moteur-alfa-romeo-bateau.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/moteur-alfa-romeo-bateau-420x265.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/moteur-alfa-romeo-bateau-768x484.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/moteur-alfa-romeo-bateau-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Foto Nicolas Anderbegani per Italpassion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Con Achille Castoldi alla guida, il motore vinse tre campionati mondiali sull'acqua. Castoldi aveva l'uso esclusivo del motore 158 nelle competizioni di motonautica dal 1938. E fu lui che, nel 1943, salv\u00f2 alcune Alfetta nascondendole nella sua casa colonica, al sicuro dai bombardamenti e dalle requisizioni belliche. Ma la sua fine fu tragica per il suo pilota di punta. La sua carrozzeria era realizzata in lega di alluminio aeronautico prodotto dal reparto elicotteri dell'Agusta. La poppa era dipinta con i colori degli aerei di linea dell'Alitalia, in omaggio alla collaborazione con questo settore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il \u00abCelli\u00bb del 1970 \u00e8 la prima delle 4 barche 2500 motorizzate con il motore Montreal-Autodelta.
