Tre anni di intenso lavoro in Emilia-Romagna con i migliori artigiani hanno permesso di riportare in vita una Stratos HF del Gruppo IV, soprannominata \"L'Anatra\" per il suo giallo brillante e la carrozzeria dalle forme generose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un destino originale per questa anatra Stratos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Questa Stratos \u00e8 gi\u00e0 originale per quanto riguarda la sua carriera sportiva, poich\u00e9 non \u00e8 sulle piste del Campionato del Mondo Rally ma sui leggendari circuiti degli Stati Uniti che si \u00e8 fatta conoscere. Progettata originariamente come vettura stradale Giallo Fly con interni blu (da cui il soprannome affettuoso di \"Duck\"), fu acquistata nuova da Anatoly Arutunoff alias \"Toly\", un imprenditore dell'Oklahoma, concessionario Ferrari ed erede dell'industria petrolifera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Figlio dell'emigrato russo Armais Arutunoff, che aveva accumulato una notevole fortuna dopo aver inventato la prima pompa di benzina sommergibile al mondo, Toly Arutunoff entr\u00f2 in possesso della sua nuova Stratos HF presso lo stabilimento Lancia di Torino alla fine del 1976. Dopo numerose modifiche, sono seguiti nove anni di competizioni nella categoria GTU (auto GT con motori inferiori a 2,5 litri) attraverso gli Stati Uniti, con l'auto che ha partecipato alla 24 Ore di Daytona, alla 12 Ore di Sebring, alla 6 Ore di Watkins Glen e alla 500 Miglia di Road America. Negli ultimi anni, questa Lancia era purtroppo caduta in rovina e, nell'agosto del 2022, \u00e8 stata messa in vendita in California. \u00c8 qui che entra in gioco Girardo &amp; Co.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guardando questa splendida Lancia Stratos Gruppo IV dopo il suo meticoloso restauro, \u00e8 difficile immaginare lo stato di abbandono in cui \u00e8 stata scoperta. Non era intenzione di chi ha realizzato questo progetto riportare \"The Duck\" a condizioni pari al nuovo. La prestigiosa storia agonistica di questa Lancia \u00e8 cos\u00ec intrinsecamente legata alla sua identit\u00e0 che tentare di cancellare ogni traccia del suo utilizzo sarebbe stato, a loro avviso, \"un errore\". O la profusione di quadranti e spie montati a posteriori su tutta la larghezza del cruscotto. O ancora il solido sedile a secchiello borchiato, restaurato dallo stesso sellaio modenese che realizza gli interni della Pagani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ancora meglio di quando ha lasciato la fabbrica!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il primo passo \u00e8 stato quello di effettuare uno studio fotografico completo, non solo per le foto essenziali del prima e del dopo, ma anche come riferimento successivo per riprodurre le specifiche e le finiture uniche del Gruppo IV. A questo \u00e8 seguito lo smontaggio completo di tutti i componenti dell'auto, fino alla carrozzeria. Ogni centimetro del telaio di \"The Duck\" \u00e8 stato meticolosamente ispezionato ed esaminato allo spiedo dal metalmeccanico specializzato. Sebbene non sia stato applicato al momento, sar\u00e0 completamente impercettibile una volta verniciata l'auto e preverr\u00e0 efficacemente la corrosione futura. Il telaio \u00e8 stato inviato alla carrozzeria per la regolazione finale, prima dell'applicazione del primer e della vernice. Dopo la base nera standard, la specifica tonalit\u00e0 di giallo \u00e8 stata riprodotta utilizzando la vernice d'epoca trovata durante lo smontaggio del telaio. Sono stati installati numerosi sistemi rinnovati, tra cui sospensioni complete, cremagliera dello sterzo, pedali, freni, radiatore e ventole di raffreddamento. La cosa migliore \u00e8 che il leggendario motore Ferrari Dino V6 di questa Stratos ha ruggito per la prima volta dopo decenni durante la prova al banco di prova. Il piano originale per \"The Duck\" prevedeva che il suo nuovo proprietario la riportasse al Daytona International Speedway per la HSR Classic Daytona nel 2026.
