Una 8C 2900B, prodotta in soli 38 esemplari alla fine degli anni Trenta, con un motore derivato direttamente dalle auto da Gran Premio dell'epoca. Eppure, quella che sar\u00e0 offerta all'asta a Londra il 1\u00b0 novembre 2025 ha una stima \"ragionevole\": tra i 3,5 e i 5 milioni di sterline, ovvero circa 4-5,8 milioni di euro. Una cifra che potrebbe sembrare vertiginosa... se non si considera che <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/it\/alfa-romeo\/ecco-le-10-alfa-romeo-piu-costose-della-storia-tutte-vendute-a-piu-di-1-milione-di-euro\/\">Altre 8C 2900B sono gi\u00e0 state vendute per quasi 20 milioni di dollari.<\/a>. Allora perch\u00e9 questo \u00e8 \"pi\u00f9 economico\"?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La rara Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L'Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 \u00e8 senza dubbio il capolavoro tecnico assoluto del marchio d'anteguerra.<br>Sotto il cofano c'\u00e8 un motore 8 cilindri in linea da 2.905 cc con doppio albero a camme e doppio compressore, direttamente derivato dal motore della Tipo B P3 Grand Prix. Un'architettura all'avanguardia per l'epoca, abbinata a un telaio leggero con sospensioni indipendenti e grandi freni a tamburo: tecnologie direttamente dalla pista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41463\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-1.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-1-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-1-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tra il 1937 e il 1939, l'Alfa Romeo produsse solo 38 esemplari di questa meraviglia, suddivisi tra telaio corto (Corto) e lungo (Lungo), e vestiti dai pi\u00f9 grandi carrozzieri: Touring, Pininfarina, e talvolta la stessa Alfa Romeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L'insolita storia di questa 2900B, carrozzata in Germania<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La vettura di cui stiamo parlando, telaio n. 412011, si distingue immediatamente per la sua storia singolare.<br>Consegnata nuova nel 1937 a Ernst Carstens, un industriale tedesco, fu dotata di una carrozzeria cabriolet a due posti da Karosseriewerk Aug. Ernst Carstens fece quindi rivestire il suo telaio Alfa Romeo in Germania, in uno stile vicino a quello delle lussuose Horch e Mercedes. Il risultato fu un'unica 8C 2900B, l'unica carrozzata fuori dall'Italia. Pensando che l'auto fosse stata modificata dopo l'uscita dalla fabbrica, si accinse a trasformarla in una versione Spider, pi\u00f9 sportiva, pi\u00f9 leggera e, soprattutto, pi\u00f9 vicina all'immagine leggendaria delle 8C 2900 viste in gara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/chassis-zagato.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/chassis-zagato.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/chassis-zagato-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/chassis-zagato-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/chassis-zagato-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sul telaio 412011 fu quindi montata una carrozzeria in stile \"Zagato\", in uno stile che fondeva le linee della Carrozzeria Alfa Romeo e di Zagato. Gli esperti di oggi sanno che la carrozzeria originale tedesca non era stata aggiunta in un secondo momento, ma era stata montata fin dall'inizio... Tuttavia, questa trasformazione \u00e8 rimasta e l'auto \u00e8 stata mantenuta meticolosamente da allora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Atipico, ma comunque con un pedigree impressionante<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Oggi, questa 8C conserva :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Un telaio 8C 2900 B originale di fabbrica,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Un motore 8C originale (anche se proviene da un altro telaio, il n. 412027),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>E componenti rari come il cambio in lega Electron, riservato ai modelli da corsa Alfa Romeo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ha ricevuto un servizio completo presso le officine Jim Stokes, uno dei principali specialisti del marchio, con una ricostruzione completa del motore nel 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-moteur.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42718\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-moteur.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-moteur-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-moteur-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/alfa-romeo-8c-2900b-moteur-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Allora perch\u00e9 \"solo\" 5 milioni?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Semplicemente perch\u00e9 questa Alfa Romeo non \u00e8 una 100 % originale:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La carrozzeria attuale \u00e8 una ricostruzione, ispirata allo stile Zagato e non alla carrozzeria tedesca Nowack del 1937.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Il suo motore non \u00e8 quello montato di serie su questo telaio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La sua storia \u00e8 stata frammentata tra diversi continenti e restauri.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In confronto, gli esemplari \"matching numbers\", conservati nella loro configurazione originale Touring o Pininfarina, vengono regolarmente venduti a 15-20 milioni di dollari nelle vendite di prestigio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuttavia, questa 8C 2900B rimane un'acquisizione interessante. Quindi s\u00ec, a oltre 5 milioni di euro, sembra fuori portata.
