I dati relativi al periodo gennaio-agosto 2025 confermano una tendenza preoccupante: il marchio con il tridente continua a scendere, nonostante qualche isolata eccezione in alcuni mercati. In attesa del famoso piano di rilancio annunciato per la fine del 2024 ma non ancora reso pubblico, Maserati sta vivendo un periodo cruciale che potrebbe ricordare i giorni bui dei primi anni 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cifre che parlano da sole<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nei primi otto mesi del 2025, Maserati ha immatricolato 5.537 vetture nei 10 principali mercati, con un calo di 28 % rispetto al 2024. Nel dettaglio, la tendenza \u00e8 quasi universale:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stati Uniti: 2.288 unit\u00e0 (-34 %). Gi\u00e0 in difficolt\u00e0, il principale mercato di Maserati sar\u00e0 probabilmente ulteriormente indebolito dalle tasse di 15 % annunciate da Donald Trump sulle auto importate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Italia: 1.302 unit\u00e0 (-22 nel terzo trimestre). Anche il mercato nazionale \u00e8 diminuito, nonostante i mesi di luglio e agosto 2025 siano stati meno disastrosi del previsto.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Giappone: 512 unit\u00e0 (-37 nel terzo trimestre), a testimonianza di un crollo brutale in Asia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regno Unito: 217 unit\u00e0 (-33 %), Svizzera: 134 unit\u00e0 (-46 %), Australia: 192 unit\u00e0 (-31 %), Turchia: 140 unit\u00e0 (-25 %), Spagna: 176 unit\u00e0 (-20 %).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Francia: eccezione, con 73 unit\u00e0 (+26 %)... ma su base aneddotica di volume.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Germania: l'unica sorpresa davvero positiva con 503 unit\u00e0 (+33 %). Il rimbalzo \u00e8 dovuto a un mese di luglio eccezionale: 34 GranTurismo, 42 Grecale e... 27 Levante immatricolati, a riprova del fatto che le scorte di SUV inattive sono ancora disponibili.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuttavia, queste disparit\u00e0 non cambiano la tendenza generale: Maserati sta perdendo terreno in quasi tutti i suoi mercati chiave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Il peso degli errori del passato<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Se la Maserati si trova al punto in cui si trova oggi, non \u00e8 solo a causa di un clima economico sfavorevole. Soprattutto, il marchio continua a pagare gli errori strategici del passato. Nel suo desiderio di diventare un marchio di volume, Maserati ha compiuto un passo che forse non era il suo. Il suo picco, con oltre 40.000 vendite nel 2016 e poi pi\u00f9 di 50.000 nel 2017, si sta rivelando pi\u00f9 un miraggio che un modello da replicare. Per un marchio di lusso, raggiungere tali cifre significava allontanarsi dall'esclusivit\u00e0... e indebolire la propria immagine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A questo ritmo, la Maserati potrebbe tornare a livelli di 6.000 unit\u00e0 all'anno entro il 2026, paragonabili a quelli registrati nel 2012, prima della grande crescita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Si attende ancora un piano di prodotto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ufficialmente, Maserati avrebbe dovuto presentare un piano di prodotto \"strutturato e incisivo\" prima dell'estate del 2025. Internamente esiste, ma non \u00e8 stato condiviso con tutti i team. Di conseguenza, i nostri clienti, i concessionari e gli appassionati sono ancora in attesa di annunci concreti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nel frattempo, Maserati rimane fedele a ci\u00f2 che sa fare meglio: auto dal design tipicamente italiano, probabilmente tra le pi\u00f9 belle sul mercato. Ma il problema \u00e8 la tecnologia. Ferrari e Lamborghini stanno gi\u00e0 sviluppando ibridi plug-in ad alte prestazioni. La Maserati, invece, non ne offrir\u00e0 una prima del 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In altre parole, i prossimi anni saranno probabilmente particolarmente lunghi. Il 2025 potrebbe segnare un nuovo minimo storico e il 2026 si preannuncia altrettanto difficile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cosa riserva il futuro a Maserati?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La domanda \u00e8 ora esistenziale: cosa vuole essere Maserati domani?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Un marchio di lusso come Porsche, capace di vendere oltre 300.000 auto all'anno?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oppure un marchio ultra-esclusivo, come Ferrari e Lamborghini, che si accontentano di 10.000-15.000 unit\u00e0 ma con una redditivit\u00e0 straordinaria?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>L'incertezza rimane. Quel che \u00e8 certo \u00e8 che nel 2027, quando finalmente arriveranno le nuove generazioni di motori elettrificati, Maserati avr\u00e0 l'opportunit\u00e0 di riprendersi. Per il momento, il marchio modenese limita i danni e serra le fila.
