Questa berlina sovralimentata, basata su un telaio tubolare \"silhouette\" e alimentata da un V10, era stata sviluppata per partecipare al campionato Procar, che Bernie Ecclestone voleva rilanciare alla fine degli anni Ottanta. Tuttavia, il progetto non ebbe successo e, a parte una piccola dimostrazione al Gran Premio d'Italia del 1988, la 164 Procar, una vera F1 con il tetto, fu rapidamente consegnata al museo di Arese. Ebbene, una sorta di discendente \u00e8 stata portata alla luce in Brasile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si tratta di un progetto che era in cantiere da diversi anni e che ora \u00e8 giunto a compimento, con una serie di sessioni in pista gi\u00e0 all'attivo. Questa Alfa Romeo 164 del Master Team non \u00e8 destinata alle corse, per il momento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una vera 164, completamente ricostruita<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/alfa-164-pista-14.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40310\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/alfa-164-pista-14.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/alfa-164-pista-14-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/alfa-164-pista-14-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/alfa-164-pista-14-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Il team ha iniziato con una vera 164 berlina, che era stata completamente smontata e di cui rimaneva ben poco dell'originale. Dal telaio di base, i meccanici hanno ricostruito una cellula tubolare \"roll cage\", un po' come quella utilizzata nella Nascar. Nella parte anteriore, lo scudetto e la \"V\" sul cofano sono pi\u00f9 pronunciati e i passaruota sono molto pi\u00f9 larghi. I fari hanno la stessa forma di quelli della 164, ma la divisione in tre blocchi ricorda i fari SZ di Zagato. Non si tratta del motore utilizzato nella berlina \"cavia\", che era dotata di un V6 Busso a 12 valvole da 190 CV, ma di un motore diverso. \u00c8 stato rielaborato per erogare 380 CV.
