Naturalmente stiamo parlando della prima generazione, quella degli anni '50 e '60 e delle versioni ultra-preparate e trasformate da Abarth, con i loro scarichi rumorosi e i motori potenziati che richiedevano l'apertura del cofano posteriore, veri e propri piccoli terrori sui circuiti che a volte umiliavano auto molto pi\u00f9 grandi e potenti. La nuova Fiat 500, uscita nel 2007, non ha avuto la stessa carriera sportiva, sebbene esistano anche versioni Abarth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nonostante ci\u00f2, alcuni esemplari vennero iscritti a varie categorie di competizioni. Romeo Ferraris, in particolare, aveva sviluppato versioni molto potenti. Si pu\u00f2 fare praticamente quello che si vuole con i veicoli sperimentali: prendere il telaio che si vuole e metterci il motore che si vuole. Le Fiat 500 di tutte le generazioni, ma anche le Fiat 124, sono spesso utilizzate come silhouette per coprire prototipi, uno pi\u00f9 improbabile dell'altro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una delle pi\u00f9 folli \"Fiat 500 hillclimbs\" \u00e8 stata senza dubbio quella del compianto Georg Pacher. Come si pu\u00f2 vedere dalle foto, ha un kit aerodinamico molto spettacolare, direttamente dalla Pikes Peak, e soprattutto un V8. S\u00ec, un V8 in una Fiat 500, potete immaginare che questo ha richiesto una grande trasformazione del telaio di base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fiat-500-hayabuza-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40023\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fiat-500-hayabuza-2.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fiat-500-hayabuza-2-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fiat-500-hayabuza-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fiat-500-hayabuza-2-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In effetti, non crediamo che ci siano molti componenti Fiat in quest'auto. Il telaio \u00e8 un traliccio tubolare in acciaio. Tutti gli elementi estetici della 500 sono stati avvicinati al suolo e la forma emblematica del tetto \u00e8 stata mantenuta, il che \u00e8 apprezzabile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il lavoro fu eseguito dalla PRC, alias Pedrazza Racing Cars, un costruttore austriaco di auto da corsa per circuiti e salite. Pacher aveva inizialmente costruito un prototipo con la silhouette della Puch TR5, la Fiat 500 di prima generazione prodotta su licenza in Austria fino al 1975. L'ultimo prototipo era basato sulla silhouette della Nuova 500 del 2007, con un peso di soli 680 chili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Due motori Suzuki!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ma ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 ancora pi\u00f9 folle di questo progetto \u00e8 il motore V8. Si tratta di una combinazione di due motori a 4 cilindri in linea della Suzuki Hayabusa, sincronizzati da uno speciale albero motore. S\u00ec, due motori di una moto leggendaria! Questo motore \u00e8 stato sviluppato dall'azienda britannica Radical Performance Engines e testato sulla Radical SR8, che negli anni 2000 ha battuto il record sul giro al N\u00fcrburgring. Secondo diverse fonti, produceva 400 CV a quasi 11.000 giri\/min.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dieci anni dopo la morte di Pacher, fu un certo Bernard Wilhelm a raccogliere la fiaccola, ma guid\u00f2 un altro prototipo basato sulla Steyr Ouch, il clone austriaco della storica Fiat 500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Abarth 500 V8 -
