Grazie alla carrozzeria in composito e al telaio in acciaio, la vettura pesava solo 1.050 kg e raggiungeva una velocit\u00e0 massima di 205 km\/h. Era stata progettata per testare nuove tecnologie, come lo scambiatore aria-liquido. La B24 era alimentata da un motore turbodiesel VM Motori I4 da 2,4 litri che sviluppava 130 CV a 4.300 giri\/min. La B24 fu prodotta in quantit\u00e0 limitata per il mercato americano, con circa nove esemplari (compresi alcuni modelli BT424 equipaggiati con motori a benzina Lancia Gamma). Era dotata di pinze Brembo a 4 pistoncini e dischi da 305 mm sull'asse anteriore. La C36 \u00e8 alimentata da un motore VM 3.8 turbodiesel a 6 cilindri in linea con iniezione di carburante, installato in posizione centrale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39766\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Turbotronic si riferiva alla tecnologia presentata da VM Motori a Milano nel 1990. Oltre alla sovralimentazione, il loro sistema utilizzava l'elettronica per controllare la combustione. \u00c8 stato utilizzato su molti dei motori diesel del Gruppo FIAT. Il motore erogava 313 CV a 4.200 giri\/min, con una spinta massima di 500 Nm a 2.100 giri\/min. La coup\u00e9 fu la prima auto diesel a superare la barriera dei 300 km\/h.
