Un errore tecnico costoso che ha offuscato definitivamente l'immagine di questo motore, ampiamente utilizzato nei modelli Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel, Jeep e DS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una reputazione da ricostruire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dal 2023, Stellantis ha cercato di voltare pagina con l'introduzione della terza generazione del 1.2L, il PureTech EB2 Gen3, <\/strong>finalmente incorporando una trasmissione a catena molto pi\u00f9 affidabile, che corregge le carenze delle generazioni precedenti. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/it\/guide\/motore-stellantis-1-2-puretech-elenco-dei-modelli-con-trasmissione-a-cinghia-e-a-catena\/\">Questo motore \u00e8 oggi presente in un'ampia gamma di veicoli<\/a>tra cui modelli ibridi come la Fiat 600, la Lancia Ypsilon, la<strong>Alfa Romeo Junior<\/strong>Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel e Jeep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuttavia, nonostante questi miglioramenti, l'immagine del PureTech \u00e8 rimasta troppo negativa per essere mantenuta. Di conseguenza <strong>Stellantis ha ritirato con discrezione il nome \"PureTech\" dai cataloghi nel settembre 2024,<\/strong> semplicemente sostituendolo con parole come \"Hybrid\" o \"1.2 Hybrid Turbo\", a seconda del marchio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">T-Gen 3: una nuova identit\u00e0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ma questa transizione senza nome non poteva durare. Dopo diversi mesi di silenzio, <strong>Nel maggio 2025 un nuovo nome ha fatto silenziosamente la sua apparizione nel catalogo Fiat: T-Gen 3. <\/strong>D'ora in poi, i motori ibridi del marchio italiano saranno denominati \"T-Gen 3 1.2 Hybrid Turbo\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"542\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-1200x542.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-38611\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-scaled.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-420x190.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-768x347.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-18x8.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Questo nome non \u00e8 solo una manovra di marketing. <strong>Riflette una strategia di rinnovamento tecnico attorno al motore EB2 di terza generazione,<\/strong> e di capitalizzare su un nome pi\u00f9 neutro, addirittura potenziante: \"T\" per \"Turbo\", \"Gen3\" per indicare chiaramente la nuova generazione. Un modo intelligente per riprendere il controllo sulla storia di questo motore e dissociarlo dalle generazioni precedenti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per il momento, questo nuovo nome compare solo nelle comunicazioni ufficiali di Fiat. Per quanto riguarda <strong>Lancia<\/strong>Per Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel e Jeep, il termine \"ibrido\" \u00e8 ancora utilizzato, semplicemente \"1.2 Hybrid Turbo\". Questo motore \u00e8 gi\u00e0 in grado di alimentare un'ampia gamma di modelli a combustione interna e ibridi leggeri, compresi i veicoli a doppia frizione eDCT.
