Dal 2023, con l'introduzione della terza generazione di questo motore, \u00e8 stata apportata una modifica importante: la distribuzione a catena ha sostituito la tradizionale cinghia. Questo cambiamento tecnico \u00e8 stato progettato per migliorare l'efficienza e l'affidabilit\u00e0 del motore PureTech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Problemi con la cinghia in bagno d'olio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le prime versioni del motore 1.2 PureTech di Stellantis (gen 1 e gen 2) utilizzavano una cinghia di distribuzione immersa nell'olio motore. Se all'epoca questa configurazione poteva sembrare innovativa, ben presto rivel\u00f2 alcuni importanti difetti. La cinghia tendeva a deteriorarsi pi\u00f9 rapidamente del previsto, rilasciando particelle che potevano intasare il sistema di lubrificazione del motore. Queste ostruzioni potevano causare perdite di potenza, malfunzionamenti e, nei casi pi\u00f9 gravi, guasti costosi da riparare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Di fronte a questi problemi, Stellantis \u00e8 dovuta intervenire con campagne di richiamo che hanno interessato quasi 500.000 veicoli, principalmente modelli Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, DS, Opel e Jeep. La catena \u00e8 pi\u00f9 adatta alle condizioni di guida moderne, in particolare nei brevi tragitti urbani, dove i motori sono particolarmente sollecitati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'obiettivo di questo sviluppo tecnico \u00e8 ridurre la necessit\u00e0 di interventi in officina, aumentare la longevit\u00e0 del motore e semplificare la manutenzione. Inoltre, i motori a catena non devono essere sostituiti con la stessa frequenza dei motori a cinghia, offrendo una maggiore affidabilit\u00e0 a lungo termine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I modelli interessati da questa modifica<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alcuni modelli del Gruppo Stellantis montano gi\u00e0 questa nuova versione del motore 1.2 PureTech a catena, disponibile in versione ibrida e non ibrida, con cambio manuale e automatico eDCT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ecco un elenco dei modelli interessati da questa modifica, suddivisi tra quelli che utilizzano ancora riparazione e manutenzione per i proprietari. Va notato che, in Europa, tutti i nuovi modelli Stellantis con motore a combustione utilizzano il 1.2L di terza generazione, anche se il nome Puretech \u00e8 stato eliminato da tutte le comunicazioni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sul versante italiano, una Fiat Grande Panda, un'Alfa Romeo Junior o una Lancia Ypsilon montano questo motore 1.2L di terza generazione. Anche se non si chiama pi\u00f9 Puretech, \u00e8 un motore che avr\u00e0 una lunga carriera davanti a s\u00e9, dato che molte nuove auto in Europa lo utilizzeranno.
