Por eso, no es raro ver b\u00f3lidos que parecen un \u201cmosaico\u201d.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/alfa-romeo\/\">Alfa Romeo<\/a> con frecuentes cambios de motor (lo que en la jerga se conoce como \u00abswap\u00bb). El Alfa Romeo 156 Turbo Integrale de Scott Austin pertenece a esta categor\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Historia alternativa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hagamos un peque\u00f1o ejercicio de ucron\u00eda: imaginad que, al t\u00e9rmino de la temporada de 1996, el campeonato ITC (que se hab\u00eda internacionalizado a partir del DTM) no desapareciera. En lugar de incorporarse a la categor\u00eda Super 2000 de los coches de superturismo, Alfa Romeo decide seguir en este campeonato de alt\u00edsimo nivel y sustituye el 155 V6 Ti por un 156 DTM. \u00a1El modelo de hoy podr\u00eda muy bien encarnar esta hip\u00f3tesis!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lanzada en 1997, la\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/coches\/alfa-romeo-156\/\">Alfa Romeo 156<\/a> marca un punto de inflexi\u00f3n en la historia de la marca, pero tambi\u00e9n un aut\u00e9ntico renacimiento estil\u00edstico y t\u00e9cnico. Su at\u00edpica l\u00ednea latina, su chasis especialmente eficaz, su sofisticada suspensi\u00f3n delantera de doble tri\u00e1ngulo y su comportamiento din\u00e1mico la convierten r\u00e1pidamente en un referente. El 156 tambi\u00e9n tuvo una brillante trayectoria deportiva oficial, con varios t\u00edtulos en el Superturismo italiano, europeo y en el WTCC hasta 2006.\u00a0 De hecho, hasta la fecha, es el \u00faltimo Alfa Romeo que se ha beneficiado de un programa de competici\u00f3n de gran envergadura, algo que no ha sido el caso de las berlinas 147, 159, Giulietta y Giulia\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Potente, pero caprichosa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Antes de pasar a manos de Scott Austin, este Alfa Romeo 156 lo pilotaba Vincent Dubois. Los archivos del campeonato ya mencionan un 156 equipado con un motor Integrale y una caja de cambios secuencial. En 2021, tras haber competido varias temporadas con un 155, Scott Austin lo compr\u00f3. Esta berlina suele mencionarse en las cr\u00f3nicas del campeonato como un \u201c156 con motor Integrale\u201d. La mayor\u00eda de los 156 de competici\u00f3n brit\u00e1nicos utilizan motores Twin Spark atmosf\u00e9ricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El coche de Scott Austin sigue una filosof\u00eda totalmente diferente: instalar un motor turbo del Delta en una berlina de tracci\u00f3n delantera. Dado que estamos en la categor\u00eda Modified, la potencia seguramente alcanza los 400 ch o incluso m\u00e1s, pero no hay ninguna informaci\u00f3n que lo aclare con certeza. Los turismos 2.0 del BTCC desarrollaban 300 caballos, pero la sobrealimentaci\u00f3n por turbo est\u00e1 muy extendida aqu\u00ed en la categor\u00eda Modified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Principales resultados<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Con Vincent Dubois<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Snetterton 2020: cuarto en la clasificaci\u00f3n general antes de que surgieran problemas con la caja de cambios secuencial. El coche se describi\u00f3 entonces como extremadamente r\u00e1pido, pero fr\u00e1gil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Temporada 2020: varios abandonos o ausencias debidos a problemas mec\u00e1nicos (caja de cambios, c\u00e1rter del motor, transmisi\u00f3n), a pesar de que los organizadores reconoc\u00edan su potencial. Los art\u00edculos sobre el campeonato la describen como una \u00abbestia\u00bb cuando funciona correctamente.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Con Scott Austin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2022: Scott Austin se proclama campe\u00f3n en la categor\u00eda Modified del campeonato.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2023: varias apariciones en cabeza de la categor\u00eda; el coche se menciona habitualmente como uno de los m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos de la parrilla.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2025 Brands Hatch Festival Italia: clasificaci\u00f3n en la zona media de la parrilla frente a coches mucho m\u00e1s modernos y potentes; el 156 sigue en liza a pesar de una grave aver\u00eda en el motor sufrida anteriormente.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2026. La 156 ha vuelto. En Caldwell Park, un peque\u00f1o circuito sinuoso, alcanz\u00f3 la mayor velocidad m\u00e1xima, con 197 km\/h, frente a los 185 km\/h del 4C de Jack Berry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Alfa Romeo 156 Turbo Integrale de Scott Austin sigue siendo hoy en d\u00eda uno de los Alfa Romeo m\u00e1s radicales que a\u00fan compiten.
