Esta <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/coches\/alfa-romeo-gtv-916\/\">Alfa Romeo GTV 916<\/a> Cuenta con una largu\u00edsima trayectoria en el campeonato Alfa Romeo UK, y se le considera uno de los coches de tracci\u00f3n delantera m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos del panorama automovil\u00edstico ingl\u00e9s de la d\u00e9cada de 2010. Tres pilotos se han turnado al volante: Roger Evans, Graham Seager y, ahora, Gareth Haywood.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Debut con un Busso modificado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El coche fue desarrollado y pilotado inicialmente por Roger Evans, una figura destacada del campeonato Alfa Romeo UK, conocido por sus modificaciones muy radicales desarrolladas junto con Revs Italia y su empresa Peak Alfa. Ya hemos hablado anteriormente de algunas de sus modificaciones m\u00e1s atrevidas, entre las que se incluyen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/alfa-romeo\/este-conductor-instalo-dos-motores-v6-busso-en-un-alfa-romeo-164-y-el-pasajero-salio-blanco-como-un-fantasma\/\">un Alfa Romeo 164 Bimotore<\/a> y un 164 de competici\u00f3n, que \u00e9l mismo prepar\u00f3 en los a\u00f1os 90. Actualmente, sigue compitiendo en la categor\u00eda Modified con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/alfa-romeo\/un-alfa-romeo-giulietta-de-traccion-trasera-con-un-motor-maserati-v8-potenciado-a-500-cv-un-autentico-gta\/\">un Alfa Romeo Giulietta al que se le ha acoplado un motor V8 de Maserati<\/a> ! En 2012 y 2013, Roger Evans se proclam\u00f3 campe\u00f3n, en parte gracias al GTV 3,8, aunque su principal arma por entonces era un 147 GTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"GTV 3.8 Donington 2008\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/xnFssoSkW0I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El misterio del poder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graham Seager se hizo cargo del GTV V6 en 2013 y lo renov\u00f3 por completo. El principal cambio consisti\u00f3 en el regreso a una cilindrada \u201ccl\u00e1sica\u201d de 3,2 litros. Contaba con componentes internos mejorados, un escape de flujo libre y, sobre todo, un compresor Rotrex con un intercooler montado en la parte delantera y un enfriador de aceite.\u00a0Nunca se han revelado las especificaciones ni la potencia exactas, pero se estim\u00f3 que el GTV alcanzaba los 400 ch. Con tal potencia y solo 1 100 kg, es un coche muy r\u00e1pido. Para que esta tracci\u00f3n resultara m\u00e1s eficaz, se instal\u00f3 un diferencial de deslizamiento limitado Gripper para controlar el potente par disponible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/gtv-916-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51097\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/gtv-916-3.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/gtv-916-3-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/gtv-916-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/gtv-916-3-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un aspecto m\u00e1s agresivo\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan el reglamento, el tabique, el parabrisas y el motor deben permanecer en su sitio, y el monocasco debe conservarse tal y como viene de f\u00e1brica. Sin embargo, se le ha dado un aspecto agresivo al coche, cuyas puertas, cap\u00f3 y maletero son de fibra de carbono, y cuyos guardabarros y alerones contribuyen en gran medida a la aerodin\u00e1mica. Seager logr\u00f3 tres victorias en 2014, terminando tercero en el campeonato general y primero en la clase A1. En 2015, se hizo con ocho victorias de categor\u00eda y se alz\u00f3 con el t\u00edtulo general. Posteriormente, el GTV compiti\u00f3 de forma espor\u00e1dica, logrando a\u00fan algunas victorias de categor\u00eda, antes de desaparecer. El coche compiti\u00f3 poco entre 2016 y 2020, participando de forma regular en solo 12 pruebas seleccionadas del CSCC Modern Classics durante ese periodo, y se utiliz\u00f3 en carreras de monta\u00f1a y sprints entre 2020 y 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a1El regreso!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El \u00faltimo piloto en incorporarse, Gareth Haywood, ha vuelto a poner en marcha el coche en la categor\u00eda Modified. El principal cambio visual es un aler\u00f3n trasero m\u00e1s alto.
