El ex Consejero Delegado de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/stellantis\/\">Stellantis<\/a>, alejado ya del ajetreo de las salas de juntas y las conferencias de estrategia, lleva ahora una vida muy distinta en su Portugal natal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre la restauraci\u00f3n de coches cl\u00e1sicos, la gesti\u00f3n de hoteles y su pasi\u00f3n por el automovilismo, Carlos Tavares sigue haciendo lo que siempre le ha gustado: conducir. Y el fin de semana del 16 y 17 de mayo, no estaba al volante de un coche el\u00e9ctrico o de un prototipo futurista. No, el antiguo jefe de Stellantis participaba en el campeonato portugu\u00e9s de monoplazas en Portim\u00e3o... en un Alfa Romeo F\u00f3rmula 3 de 1983.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un Alfa Romeo de carreras de los a\u00f1os 80<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El coche inscrito por Carlos Tavares no es un monoplaza cualquiera. Este monoplaza explotaba al m\u00e1ximo los principios del efecto suelo que dominaban el automovilismo de la \u00e9poca. Preparado para la competici\u00f3n, este motor produc\u00eda entre 165 y 190 CV, seg\u00fan la configuraci\u00f3n. Cifras modestas hoy en d\u00eda, pero combinadas con un peso de unos 455 kg, permit\u00edan a este F3 alcanzar entre 240 y 250 km\/h con un sonido t\u00edpicamente Alfa Romeo, brioso y mec\u00e1nico. El Ralt RT3 se considera a menudo como uno de los mejores coches de F\u00f3rmula 3 de principios de los a\u00f1os 80, hasta el punto de que sirvi\u00f3 de trampol\u00edn para varios futuros pilotos de F1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un fin de semana lleno de acontecimientos en Portim\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carlos Tavares comparti\u00f3 varios momentos de su fin de semana de carreras en el legendario circuito de Portim\u00e3o, en el Algarve. Durante los entrenamientos libres, el Alfa Romeo Ralt RT3 se vio involucrado en un contacto con otro competidor, pero la clasificaci\u00f3n fue mejor, con un tiempo de 1\u201959 que permiti\u00f3 a Tavares hacerse con la sexta plaza de la general y el primer puesto entre los \u201cNo FR2000\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El domingo fue mucho m\u00e1s intenso. En la primera carrera, un problema con el embrague le oblig\u00f3 a salir... en el arranque. Por si fuera poco, una rueda trasera suelta a tres vueltas del final complic\u00f3 a\u00fan m\u00e1s la situaci\u00f3n. El resultado: noveno puesto en la general y tercero en su clase. En la segunda manga, el embrague volvi\u00f3 a fallar despu\u00e9s de s\u00f3lo dos vueltas. A pesar de ello, Carlos Tavares continu\u00f3 la carrera sin el embrague, mejorando incluso su mejor tiempo de 1\u201958.604.
