Lanzado en 1931, contaba con un motor de ocho cilindros en l\u00ednea sobrealimentado de 2,3 litros y unos 175 CV. El motor ten\u00eda dos bloques y culatas de aleaci\u00f3n ligera, con dos v\u00e1lvulas por cilindro y dos \u00e1rboles de levas en cabeza accionados por engranajes. Con un peso de unos 920 kilos, la bestia es capaz de alcanzar velocidades de hasta 210 km\/h. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su primer a\u00f1o, el coche gan\u00f3 la Targa Florio con Tazio Nuvolari, las 24 Horas de Le Mans con Lord Howe y Sir Henry Birkin, y el Gran Premio de Italia con Giuseppe Campari y Tazio Nuvolari. Fue esta victoria en el circuito lombardo la que dio a la m\u00e1quina de carreras el nombre de \u201cMonza\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a1Veni, vidi, vici!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1932, una gran primicia: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/alfa-romeo\/\">Alfa Romeo<\/a> hizo su primera aparici\u00f3n oficial en el Gran Premio de M\u00f3naco, celebrado por primera vez en 1929. Su jefe de equipo, Aldo Giovannini, inscribi\u00f3 tres Alfa Romeo Monza rojos de 2,3 litros especialmente preparados para Tazio Nuvolari, Giuseppe Campari y Mario Umberto Borzacchini. Un cuarto coche, un Monza blanco, fue para el alem\u00e1n Rudolf Caracciola, que a\u00fan no era miembro del equipo oficial. No obstante, Caracciola hab\u00eda firmado un contrato con Alfa Romeo para 1932, tras la retirada de Daimler-Benz de la competici\u00f3n a finales de 1931. Nuvolari, que s\u00f3lo hab\u00eda salido 11\u00ba, ascendi\u00f3 como una flecha hasta la segunda posici\u00f3n tras s\u00f3lo media hora de carrera. En la vuelta 30, Chiron cometi\u00f3 un error en la chicane y volc\u00f3, afortunadamente no de gravedad, \u00a1pero se retir\u00f3! Nuvolari hered\u00f3 el liderato y tuvo que hacer frente a la remontada de Carraciola, que se hab\u00eda adaptado r\u00e1pidamente a Monza. Nuvolari tambi\u00e9n tuvo problemas de encendido, \u00a1pero aguant\u00f3 para ganar por s\u00f3lo 2,8 segundos del Monza blanco!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a1Un truco de m\u00e1s!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1933, se aument\u00f3 la cilindrada del Monza a 2,6 litros, lo que increment\u00f3 su potencia de 165 a 180 CV y su velocidad m\u00e1xima a 225 km\/h, hasta que la Scuderia Ferrari recibi\u00f3 los nuevos P3. Nuvolari regres\u00f3 y se enzarz\u00f3 en una encarnizada batalla por la victoria con su gran rival, Achille Varzi, que ten\u00eda un Bugatti Type 51. Los dos hombres se mantuvieron mutuamente en vilo y se turnaron el liderato. Al comienzo de la 99\u00aa y \u00faltima vuelta, despu\u00e9s de m\u00e1s de 3 horas de carrera, Nuvolari y Varzi estaban rueda con rueda, roz\u00e1ndose peligrosamente en la curva Casino, pero el motor del Monza abandon\u00f3 en el t\u00fanel y el \u201cMantuano volador\u201d tuvo que retirarse, dejando la victoria a Varzi. Tras recibir la ayuda de algunos espectadores y mec\u00e1nicos para empujar su coche, fue incluso descalificado. Este nuevo problema de fiabilidad tens\u00f3 a\u00fan m\u00e1s la ya conflictiva relaci\u00f3n de Nuvolari con Enzo Ferrari, y el italiano acab\u00f3 dando un portazo y march\u00e1ndose a n\u00ba 28 y del motor n\u00ba 28. Una placa en el compartimento del motor atestigua la precisi\u00f3n de la mec\u00e1nica y el rigor necesario para su mantenimiento:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" focusable=\"false\" class=\"icon icon-quote\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\"><use xlink:href=\"#icon-quote\"><\/use><\/svg>\n<p><strong>ADVERTENCIAS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El orden de encendido, empezando por el radiador, es el siguiente: \u00a0<strong>1 3 6 8 4 2 7 5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La holgura entre las levas y las v\u00e1lvulas de admisi\u00f3n y escape debe ser <strong>un m\u00ednimo de 0,45 mm y un m\u00e1ximo de 0,50 mm<\/strong>.  (<strong>Comprobar el ajuste cada 2000 km recorridos<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compruebe que los electrodos de la buj\u00eda est\u00e1n aproximadamente <strong>0,4 mm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Del mismo modo, la distancia entre los contactos del distribuidor debe ser de aproximadamente <strong>0,35 <\/strong><strong>mm<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el otro lado hay una placa con instrucciones de lubricaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LUBRICACI\u00d3N DE MOTORES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mantener el aceite en el dep\u00f3sito <strong>por encima del nivel m\u00ednimo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si su motor es nuevo o acaba de ser revisado, cambie el aceite cada seis meses. <strong>500 km<\/strong>.<br>&nbsp; Entonces cambia el aceite:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>en verano<\/strong> todos <strong>2000 km<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>en invierno<\/strong> todos <strong>1000 km<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Se recomiendan los siguientes aceites:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Verano<\/strong> : <em>Oleoblitz Sport Semi-denso<\/em> o <em>G\u00e1rgola Mobiloil BB<\/em>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Invierno<\/strong> : <em>Oleoblitz Sport Fluido<\/em> o <em>G\u00e1rgola Mobiloil A<\/em>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Para temperaturas <strong>por debajo de 0\u00b0C<\/strong>, uso :<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Oleoblitz Fluido Bis<\/em> o <em>G\u00e1rgola Mobiloil \u00c1rtico<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00ed, \u00a1estamos muy lejos de las pilas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"GRAN PREMIO HIST\u00d3RICO DE M\u00d3NACO 2026 -
