Hoy en d\u00eda, sigue siendo uno de los modelos m\u00e1s caracter\u00edsticos de su \u00e9poca. Y un ejemplar especialmente raro acaba de reaparecer en una subasta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este Pantera GT5 de 1984, ofrecido por SBX Cars, no es un coche cualquiera. En primer lugar, porque es uno de los 250 GT5 que se fabricaron en el mundo. En segundo lugar, a pesar de tener 42 a\u00f1os, se encuentra en un estado de conservaci\u00f3n impresionante, con poco m\u00e1s de 21.500 km en el reloj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un supercoche italiano con coraz\u00f3n americano<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La historia de Pantera es at\u00edpica. Fundada por Alejandro De Tomaso, un argentino afincado en Italia, la marca hab\u00eda encontrado una receta \u00fanica: combinar el estilo italiano con la robustez mec\u00e1nica americana. Donde Ferrari y Lamborghini confiaban en motores complejos y costosos de mantener, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/de-tomaso\/\">De Tomaso<\/a> eligi\u00f3 Ford V8s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-67jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-49769\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-67jpg.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-67jpg-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-67jpg-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-67jpg-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Bajo el cap\u00f3 de este GT5 se esconde un V8 Cleveland 351 ci, anunciado como n\u00famero de serie, que desarrolla unos 345 CV. Toda la potencia se env\u00eda a las ruedas traseras a trav\u00e9s de una caja de cambios manual ZF de cinco velocidades. Esta versi\u00f3n, lanzada a principios de los 80 para dar al Pantera un \u00faltimo gran toque de lustre, adopt\u00f3 un espectacular kit de carrocer\u00eda con aletas ensanchadas de fibra de vidrio, imponentes paneles de balancines, un splitter delantero y un enorme aler\u00f3n trasero inspirado en el Lamborghini Countach. Imposible pasar desapercibido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una configuraci\u00f3n muy rara<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El modelo a la venta tambi\u00e9n llama la atenci\u00f3n por su configuraci\u00f3n. La carrocer\u00eda est\u00e1 acabada en Amarena Metallizzato, una mezcla de negro y p\u00farpura que recuerda a un cerezo negro metalizado, combinada con un interior de cuero Rosso Rubino burdeos. Es una combinaci\u00f3n particularmente ochentera que realza a\u00fan m\u00e1s el car\u00e1cter exclusivo del coche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-49766\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-3.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-3-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-3-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El coche monta llantas de aluminio de 15 pulgadas calzadas con enormes neum\u00e1ticos Pirelli, incluidos los traseros de 345 de ancho. A bordo, el ambiente se mantiene fiel al esp\u00edritu anal\u00f3gico de la \u00e9poca: instrumentaci\u00f3n Veglia, volante Momo Prototipo, palanca de cambios con rejilla met\u00e1lica visible y tapicer\u00eda de cuero a la antigua usanza. Aunque se ha a\u00f1adido un sistema de audio Alpine m\u00e1s moderno, el conjunto conserva todo el encanto bruto de los supercoches italianos de aquella generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">85.000 restauraci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Este Pantera GT5 se benefici\u00f3 de una restauraci\u00f3n completa estimada en 85.000 d\u00f3lares a cargo de un propietario anterior. El compartimento del motor ha sido especialmente cuidado, con elementos pulidos y detalles en rojo que resaltan el Ford V8. El vendedor tambi\u00e9n especifica que el coche era conocido en el Pantera Owners Club of America, un detalle que suele tranquilizar a los coleccionistas sobre la historia del veh\u00edculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-49771\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-8.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-8-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-8-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gt5-pantera-8-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hay algunos defectos menores, como una peque\u00f1a grieta en la parte delantera y un ligero desgaste en el asiento del conductor, pero el estado general es notable para un coche que tiene m\u00e1s de cuatro d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A pesar de su rareza, sigue sin venderse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de su exclusividad, el Pantera GT5 no encontr\u00f3 comprador. La venta organizada por SBX Cars termin\u00f3 tras s\u00f3lo siete pujas, sin alcanzar el precio de reserva fijado por el vendedor. No es el primer intento. Ya en agosto de 2024, el mismo coche sali\u00f3 a subasta en la plataforma Collecting Cars. Una vez m\u00e1s, el resultado fue id\u00e9ntico: el coche se qued\u00f3 sin vender a pesar de un cierto inter\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este \u00faltimo fracaso demuestra lo complejo que es el mercado de los supercoches cl\u00e1sicos at\u00edpicos. El De Tomaso Pantera goza ahora de una imagen cada vez m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida entre los aficionados a los coches anal\u00f3gicos, pero sigue estando a la sombra de los Ferrari y Lamborghini de la misma \u00e9poca. Su mezcla de ingenier\u00eda americana y dise\u00f1o italiano atrae a un nicho de coleccionistas, sin alcanzar las cotas de apreciaci\u00f3n de los iconos m\u00e1s conocidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parad\u00f3jicamente, quiz\u00e1 sea esto precisamente lo que hace que el Pantera GT5 sea tan interesante hoy en d\u00eda. Producido en cantidades muy reducidas, con un aspecto espectacular y una mec\u00e1nica con fama de ser m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de mantener que la de algunos de sus rivales italianos, poco a poco empieza a atraer m\u00e1s la atenci\u00f3n de los coleccionistas.
