Este es el monstruo de Frankenstein que surgi\u00f3 de su imaginaci\u00f3n. En 2001, se hizo con un aut\u00e9ntico <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/coches\/lancia-delta\/\">Lancia Delta Evolution 1992<\/a>, y lo convirti\u00f3 en su coche de diario. Unos cuantos viajes a la pista para explorar los l\u00edmites de su potencial le dieron el deseo de hacer m\u00e1s con su legendario compacto. Todo empez\u00f3 con peque\u00f1as modificaciones, pero una serie de fallos en el motor y la caja de cambios dejaron su pasi\u00f3n insatisfecha. Deja paso a un chasis tubular hecho a medida y una carrocer\u00eda aerodin\u00e1mica digna de un coche que desaf\u00eda a la f\u00edsica en la cima de Pikes Peak. Pentell ha admitido que se inspir\u00f3 en el aspecto de las berlinas del DTM, con un amplio kit de carrocer\u00eda y enormes aletas. Incluso hay gui\u00f1os a las siluetas del Grupo 5. Para catapultar al monstruo, se opt\u00f3 por el motor 2JZ de seis cilindros en l\u00ednea y la transmisi\u00f3n tomados de un Toyota Supra de cuarta generaci\u00f3n. La suspensi\u00f3n de bieletas y los amortiguadores \u00d6hlins ajustables en cinco posiciones est\u00e1n tomados de un Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, pero otras piezas proceden del Ultima GTR. La cremallera de direcci\u00f3n procede de un Porsche 997 Carrera, y la bomba de direcci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica, de un Volvo V50. Los motores Supra de todas las generaciones siempre han sido lo suficientemente fiables como para hacer frente a grandes aumentos de potencia sin ning\u00fan problema. Presentado en 1991, el motor se basa en una estructura de hierro fundido pr\u00e1cticamente indestructible, un cig\u00fce\u00f1al forjado y una arquitectura no interferencial. Su sobreingenier\u00eda, dise\u00f1ada para soportar d\u00e9cadas de condiciones extremas, lo convierte en una base ideal para los tuneadores. El motor soporta sobrepresiones extremas, incluso despu\u00e9s de que los turbos originales se sustituyeran por un \u00fanico turbo. Con las \u00faltimas evoluciones introducidas en 2017, se han alcanzado unos alucinantes 1.000 CV, transmitidos a las ruedas traseras a trav\u00e9s de una caja de cambios Supra de seis velocidades, a diferencia del legendario Integrale de rally en el que se inspira. En el t\u00fanel de transmisi\u00f3n hay un sistema compuesto por dos palancas para ajustar la dureza de las barras estabilizadoras delanteras\/traseras en seco o mojado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La bestia ha competido tanto en escalada como en contrarreloj, en pruebas n\u00f3rdicas y europeas.
