En el reciente sal\u00f3n Motor Passion de Avi\u00f1\u00f3n (Francia) se expuso una lancha de competici\u00f3n con motor Alfa Romeo, construida por el fabricante Lucini &amp; Frigerio. Este modelo de 1972 era \u00fanico en su clase, propulsado por un motor bialbero 1300 de 4 cilindros. Nos record\u00f3 la exposici\u00f3n \u00abCavalli Marini\u00bb, \"caballitos de mar\" en el lenguaje de Dante, que hab\u00eda tenido lugar unos a\u00f1os antes en el Museo Storico d'Arese. Foto Nicolas Anderbegani para Italpassion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cuando Alfa Romeo era un grupo multiproducto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La marca milanesa contaba con una rama Alfa Romeo Industrie que estaba presente en el sector aeron\u00e1utico con Alfa Romeo Avio y en el del transporte comercial con Alfa Romeo Veicoli Industriali. Autobuses, trolebuses, camiones y motores de aviaci\u00f3n formaron parte de la producci\u00f3n del Biscione, que contribuy\u00f3 al esfuerzo b\u00e9lico italiano durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Alfa Industriale propuls\u00f3 barcos de recreo, vaporetti de Venecia (\u00a1incluso barcos de pesca!) y tambi\u00e9n las famosas \u00ablanchas explosivas\u00bb MTS (Motoscafo Turismo Silurante) utilizadas por la Regia Marina durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial para intentar hundir los barcos aliados, lanchas r\u00e1pidas que utilizaban el motor 6C 2500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De los a\u00f1os 30 a los 80, Alfa Romeo fue uno de los protagonistas de las competiciones de lanchas motoras y de los intentos de r\u00e9cord, acumulando t\u00edtulos en Italia, en Europa y en todo el mundo. Italia, potencia mar\u00edtima y destino de vacaciones, siempre ha sido una de las cunas de la moton\u00e1utica. Maserati y Ferrari tambi\u00e9n lo intentaron, motorizando lanchas neum\u00e1ticas de competici\u00f3n en los a\u00f1os 50, como el hidroplano Timossi Ferrari Arno XI de 1953, propulsado por el V12 del 375 F1 de la Scuderia Ferrari. Desde los a\u00f1os 80 y 90, ha sido Lamborghini quien ha entrado en el mundo de las regatas mar\u00edtimas, con potentes motores, incluidos los V12 que propulsan los Inshore F1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Motores de F1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En el \u00e1mbito de la moton\u00e1utica, los motores aptos para uso marino se suministraban exclusivamente para uso temporal y eran gestionados directamente por el departamento de competici\u00f3n de Alfa Romeo. El famoso motor del 158, dise\u00f1ado en 1938 por Gioacchino Colombo, era un 8 cilindros en l\u00ednea de 1,5 litros accionado por un compresor Roots. Castoldi ten\u00eda el uso exclusivo del motor 158 en las competiciones de lanchas motoras desde 1938. Y fue \u00e9l quien, en 1943, salv\u00f3 algunos de los Alfetta escondi\u00e9ndolos en su granja, a salvo de los bombardeos y las requisas de guerra. Pero tuvo un final tr\u00e1gico para su piloto estrella. Su carrocer\u00eda era de aleaci\u00f3n aeron\u00e1utica de aluminio producida por el departamento de Agusta Helicopters. La popa estaba pintada con los colores de los aviones de Alitalia, un homenaje a la colaboraci\u00f3n con este sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La \u00abCelli\u00bb de 1970 fue la primera de las 4.2500 embarcaciones propulsadas por el motor Montreal-Autodelta para motos acu\u00e1ticas.
