Pero \u00e9sta no era insignificante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El dise\u00f1ador Antonino Barone ha creado una reinterpretaci\u00f3n moderna del Fiat Ritmo, el ic\u00f3nico coche compacto lanzado en 1978. En su momento, este coche marc\u00f3 la entrada de Fiat en la era moderna de los compactos: l\u00edneas atrevidas, parachoques integrados y una fuerte personalidad. Pero esta vez, la reacci\u00f3n no vino de los fans. Vino del director general de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/fiat\/\">Fiat<\/a> \u00e9l mismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" focusable=\"false\" class=\"icon icon-quote\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\"><use xlink:href=\"#icon-quote\"><\/use><\/svg>\n<p>\u00abDise\u00f1ar un coche -y el p\u00fablico en general suele ignorarlo- es la parte m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por supuesto, hay dise\u00f1os buenos y dise\u00f1os no tan buenos. Pero dise\u00f1ar un coche \u201cde la nada\u201d, como ejercicio, no es el verdadero reto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El verdadero reto est\u00e1 en otra parte: entender si este dise\u00f1o puede lograrse realmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 plataforma?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Todos los coches modernos nacen sobre una plataforma compartida. No se trata de un compromiso creativo: es la base del negocio del autom\u00f3vil. Esto es tan cierto para nosotros como para cualquier otro grupo. Un proyecto s\u00f3lo es viable si es sostenible, y hoy en d\u00eda la sostenibilidad industrial exige una inversi\u00f3n compartida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los haters dir\u00e1n: \u201cAh, pero ser\u00e1 una plataforma compartida con otras marcas de Stellantis\u201d.<br>Claro que s\u00ed. Y es normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La verdadera pregunta es: \u00bflas proporciones que vemos -anchura, voladizo, habitabilidad- son compatibles con una plataforma real?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por ejemplo, la plataforma del Smart Car, la utilizada para el Grande Panda. Y no lo olvidemos: esto no es un Citro\u00ebn. Fue desarrollado conjuntamente, a cuatro manos. Compartir no significa copiar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dicho esto, viendo algunas de las proporciones del renderizado, no estoy seguro de que todo sea f\u00e1cilmente realizable sobre esta base t\u00e9cnica. Y eso es una cuesti\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica, no ideol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00bfPuede venderse hoy?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>El Ritmo original era un compacto de cinco puertas. Hoy en d\u00eda, el mercado se ha desplazado enormemente hacia los SUV y los UV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hay una gran diferencia entre :<br>- Me gusta ver c\u00f3mo lo conducen otros\u201c.\u201d<br>y<br>- Lo compro para m\u00ed, porque satisface mis necesidades\u201c.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las necesidades cambian, los segmentos cambian, los vol\u00famenes cambian: antes incluso que el gusto est\u00e9tico, hay que preguntarse si la idea es comercialmente viable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00bfCon qu\u00e9 motores?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>El debate sigue abierto: el\u00e9ctrico, h\u00edbrido, \u201cdevu\u00e9lvanos el Multijet\u201d...<br>Lo entiendo perfectamente. A m\u00ed tambi\u00e9n me gustar\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero no es una elecci\u00f3n de marca. Y a menudo ni siquiera es una elecci\u00f3n de grupo: es una elecci\u00f3n reglamentaria, europea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con la electricidad total en 2035 y un recorrido muy exigente hasta 2030, es totalmente irreal imaginar un nuevo proyecto con los motores y transmisiones que los italianos seguimos adorando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hay un desfase entre lo que Europa nos pide y lo que nos gusta. Y en este punto, todos somos \u201cv\u00edctimas\u201d, fabricantes y clientes por igual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conclusi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas son las preguntas que hay que hacerse antes de comentar con un \u201cmagn\u00edfico\u201d o un \u201cFiat no es capaz\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El dise\u00f1o es s\u00f3lo el principio. El coche de verdad tiene que ver con la viabilidad industrial, la sostenibilidad econ\u00f3mica y la compatibilidad normativa. No se trata s\u00f3lo de un renderizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reflexiones finales. Volvamos al dise\u00f1o.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfMe gusta este nuevo Ritmo?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La respuesta es sencilla: s\u00ed. Creo que es un gran \u00e9xito. Enhorabuena a Antonino y a Quattroruote por una iniciativa que mantiene vivo el debate y estimula la visi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero cuando se resucita un dise\u00f1o del pasado, s\u00f3lo cabe hacerse una pregunta: \u00bfpor qu\u00e9?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En realidad, puede haber dos respuestas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bfEl dise\u00f1o de anta\u00f1o responde a las necesidades actuales?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Quiz\u00e1 porque la historia es c\u00edclica. O porque ciertas necesidades fundamentales son universales y nunca desaparecen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por eso, por ejemplo, estoy convencido de que una interpretaci\u00f3n contempor\u00e1nea del Panda de Giugiaro, con sus dimensiones y proporciones originales de coche urbano, seguir\u00eda siendo extraordinariamente potente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O el ejercicio \u201cMultipla\u201d: la b\u00fasqueda radical e inteligente de nuevas soluciones espaciales sigue de plena actualidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este caso, recuperamos un dise\u00f1o porque su \u201cpor qu\u00e9\u201d sigue vivo. Porque satisface una necesidad real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Segunda posibilidad, y las dos no se excluyen mutuamente:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Recuperamos un dise\u00f1o porque encarna profundamente el ADN de la marca.<br>Porque ayuda a aclarar la percepci\u00f3n.<br>Porque lo define.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ejemplo m\u00e1s evidente es el 500. Desde 2007, ha redefinido la direcci\u00f3n estil\u00edstica de la marca: peque\u00f1o, italiano, Dolce Vita. No es s\u00f3lo un coche, sino un manifiesto.
