Tras varias semanas de rumores, cartas de protesta y especulaciones t\u00e9cnicas, la FIA ha decidido hablar claro. Y no s\u00f3lo con un comunicado de prensa: el organismo rector ha publicado un largo v\u00eddeo explicativo de los cambios en el reglamento de 2026, en el que aborda de lleno, al final, el tema candente del momento: la relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n de los futuros V6 h\u00edbridos. Se trata de un pasaje muy esperado, ya que esta cuesti\u00f3n est\u00e1 cristalizando actualmente las tensiones entre los fabricantes de motores en v\u00edsperas de un importante cambio reglamentario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n, en el centro de la pol\u00e9mica de 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En el v\u00eddeo, los responsables t\u00e9cnicos de la FIA empiezan por volver a lo b\u00e1sico. La relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n, se\u00f1alan, es uno de los par\u00e1metros m\u00e1s b\u00e1sicos de un motor de combusti\u00f3n interna de cuatro tiempos: corresponde a la relaci\u00f3n entre el volumen de la mezcla aire-combustible aspirada en el cilindro y el volumen al que se comprime esta mezcla antes del encendido. Cuanto mayor sea la relaci\u00f3n, m\u00e1s eficaz ser\u00e1 el motor... hasta cierto l\u00edmite. Una compresi\u00f3n excesiva provoca fen\u00f3menos indeseables, como la precombusti\u00f3n o el golpeteo, que son destructivos para el motor. Precisamente para evitar estos problemas, el reglamento de 2026 rebaja el l\u00edmite de compresi\u00f3n de 18:1 a 16:1. Una cifra presentada por la FIA como un compromiso, m\u00e1s accesible para los nuevos participantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una norma dise\u00f1ada para atraer a nuevos fabricantes de motores<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La FIA acepta plenamente esta orientaci\u00f3n. En su opini\u00f3n, sin una simplificaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica y una reducci\u00f3n de los requisitos extremos, la F\u00f3rmula 1 corr\u00eda el riesgo de acabar con s\u00f3lo dos fabricantes de motores a medio plazo. Por el contrario, el nuevo marco reglamentario ha permitido asegurar cinco fabricantes de trenes motrices, con un sexto en camino. Pero esta apertura tambi\u00e9n tiene su lado negativo. Como reconoce el propio organismo, algunos ingenieros identificaron r\u00e1pidamente una zona gris: un motor perfectamente conforme durante las pruebas en fr\u00edo pod\u00eda, una vez llevado a la temperatura de funcionamiento, mostrar una relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n real superior al l\u00edmite te\u00f3rico. Es precisamente este punto el que ha desatado la tormenta actual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La FIA admite una posible \"interpretaci\u00f3n\" sobre el terreno<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Por primera vez p\u00fablicamente, la FIA reconoce en este v\u00eddeo que existen soluciones t\u00e9cnicas para modificar la relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n cuando el motor est\u00e1 caliente. Sin mencionar nunca expl\u00edcitamente a Mercedes, el organismo rector confirma que \"algunas personas han encontrado la manera de aumentar potencialmente este par\u00e1metro cuando el motor funciona a alta temperatura\".  Una afirmaci\u00f3n que valida indirectamente las preocupaciones expresadas por Ferrari, Audi y Honda, que ahora est\u00e1n en v\u00edas de soluci\u00f3n. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/concurso\/formula-1\/a-un-mes-de-la-temporada-2026-de-f1-el-motor-mercedes-podria-ponerse-finalmente-en-entredicho-2\/\">unido a Red Bull Racing<\/a>. La FIA no habla de trampas, sino de una interpretaci\u00f3n que no estaba prevista cuando se redact\u00f3 el reglamento. Un cl\u00e1sico de la F\u00f3rmula 1 moderna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apagar el fuego antes de Melbourne<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, el mensaje central del v\u00eddeo es claro: la FIA quiere resolver este problema antes del inicio de la temporada. Seg\u00fan sus responsables, no se trata de lanzar la nueva era t\u00e9cnica bajo el signo de la pol\u00e9mica, las protestas o los recursos judiciales. El objetivo declarado es simple: desarrollar los procedimientos de prueba para que reflejen mejor las condiciones reales de utilizaci\u00f3n del motor, en particular en caliente. Es una forma de cerrar la puerta a las interpretaciones sin introducir cambios profundos en el reglamento, al menos en apariencia. Al mismo tiempo, la FIA reconoce el dilema al que se enfrenta: demorarse demasiado ser\u00eda poner en duda la equidad deportiva, pero actuar demasiado bruscamente podr\u00eda exponer al organismo a acusaciones de cambiar las normas a mitad de camino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una cosa es cierta: aunque la cuesti\u00f3n de la relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n parece ahora en v\u00edas de soluci\u00f3n, la propia FIA advierte de que en los pr\u00f3ximos meses surgir\u00e1n inevitablemente otros debates t\u00e9cnicos.
