Pero en la escalada, una extra\u00f1a variante rein\u00f3 durante varios a\u00f1os: el Groupe 5 Silhouette, con un f\u00edsico totalmente transformado respecto a los GTA habituales. La clase de \"coches especiales de producci\u00f3n\" del Grupo 5 se inaugur\u00f3 en 1976, con una normativa permisiva y cuotas de homologaci\u00f3n bajas que permit\u00edan a los ingenieros ser muy creativos con las berlinas deportivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una primera carrera en el Grupo 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El GTA 1600 del que hablamos hoy disfrut\u00f3 primero de una exitosa carrera en el Grupo 2 de 1965 a 1975, gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n de Carlo Chiti. El motor original era un 1300 con inyecci\u00f3n de combustible de 16 v\u00e1lvulas, luego la berlina pas\u00f3 a un 1600 con carburadores y una transmisi\u00f3n modificada. El primero en correr con ella fue Amerigo Bigliazzi, de Siena, que la hizo preparar en 1965 en Autodelta, ganando prestigiosas carreras en el campeonato italiano absoluto de velocidad y en el campeonato europeo de monta\u00f1a. Despu\u00e9s de Amerigo Bigliazzi, el coche fue pilotado por Truci, Cesarini, Sacchini, Ciardi y otros, y continu\u00f3 su serie de importantes victorias a nivel europeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-8.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-8-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-8-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-8-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1975: la transformaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1975, pas\u00f3 a manos de la estructura Tecnopel de Prato, donde se le uni\u00f3 una hermana gemela y ambas se transformaron en Siluetas Gr. 5, que siguieron participando en carreras de subida y en circuito. Los Gr. 5 de la d\u00e9cada de 1970 permitieron modificaciones significativas en la carrocer\u00eda, con la adici\u00f3n de ap\u00e9ndices aerodin\u00e1micos tan exagerados en su ensanchamiento que, en lugar de convertirse en Silhouettes, los coches resultaban a menudo feos y torpes. Incluso el salpicadero pod\u00eda desmontarse y sustituirse por uno de aluminio. El GTA, transformado de este modo en un \"Silhouette\", resulta irreconocible con sus amplias aletas y grandes alerones. Incluso parece un BMW 3.0 CSL o un BMW 320 Turbo Grupo 5. El c\u00e1rter de aceite ampliado es de magnesio, pero sobre todo hace su aparici\u00f3n un escape \"cuello de cisne\" montado lateralmente, que le confiere un sonido realmente \u00fanico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45819\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-2.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-2-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-2-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un buen historial, entonces la jubilaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De los 4\/5 coches convertidos a Gr. 5 en aquella \u00e9poca, con los que corrieron Angelini, Rampa, Bellina y otros, s\u00f3lo uno se salv\u00f3 y sigui\u00f3 compitiendo en su configuraci\u00f3n actual con el antiguo Alessandro Fracastoro, que lo compr\u00f3 a Tecnopel. Los consejos del ingeniero Chiti, que llev\u00f3 los dos coches al t\u00fanel de viento, resultaron oportunos, sobre todo en la pista, donde la disposici\u00f3n de los dos GTA, con sus eficaces ap\u00e9ndices aerodin\u00e1micos, siempre los hab\u00eda hecho muy r\u00e1pidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45820\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-4.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-4-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-4-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/alfa-romeo-1600-4-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La historia de este GTA se traslada a Arezzo, donde se encuentra el legendario Celso Caccialupi, que compr\u00f3 el coche a Alessandro Fracastoro en 1978 y lo utiliz\u00f3 en escalada y en circuito hasta principios de la d\u00e9cada de 1980 bajo el seud\u00f3nimo de \"John Travolta\". El coche particip\u00f3 en 300 carreras y obtuvo 70 victorias en su categor\u00eda, pero la carrocer\u00eda result\u00f3 gravemente da\u00f1ada por una tormenta de granizo durante una subida en 1981. A partir de entonces, la carrocer\u00eda nunca se repar\u00f3 del todo, cesaron las participaciones en competici\u00f3n y el GTA Silhouette acab\u00f3 acumulando polvo en un garaje de la Toscana, a pesar de que se le hab\u00eda desmontado el motor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El renacimiento de Fantini<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fue rescatado en 1987 cuando, en un lamentable estado de conservaci\u00f3n, encontr\u00f3 comprador y pas\u00f3 a formar parte de la famosa Collezione Fantini de Arezzo. A lo largo de su vida, Attilio Fantini reuni\u00f3 una excepcional colecci\u00f3n de coches deportivos del siglo XX, con las estrellas de las carreras en circuito, los rallies y el alpinismo. Conserva todos los accesorios originales autorizados en la \u00e9poca: frenos ventilados, dep\u00f3sito de combustible con dos tapones para un r\u00e1pido repostaje en pista, aler\u00f3n trasero regulable, barra antivuelco, salpicadero modificado con instrumentos y contadores Jager de \u00e9poca, llantas BBS desmontables, puertas y cap\u00f3 de fibra de vidrio de \u00e9poca, alambre de apertura de puertas, ventanillas de policarbonato, escape lateral de cuello de cisne, caja de admisi\u00f3n de fibra de vidrio para proteger los 45 cuernos del carburador, caja de cambios obligatoria Colotti y c\u00e1rter de aceite de magnesio.
